- In this video i will show how to fix Error 21 of the Max.
Error 21 create a real pain...you can hide it in CFW generator ( Level 2 ) but the error, will still be there...and it doesn't allow:
1. To be able to see the "bricks" (▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎)
or percent % of the battery.
2. And the most annoying one...is the Cut-off current wehn driving at full throttle.
I wasn't able to drive more than 25km/h without cut-off.
When I got more than 25km/h after 50 meters my scooter stopped. And after some seconds I was able to turn it on again.
● First check ✔ the connection wires between controller and battery!
If that doesn't help, you have to watch this video.
You will know how to change Ninebot MaxG30/D BMS after watching this video.

I will change my bms from my ninebot f40d.
The new bms has the connectors B+, B10,B9,...,B1.
Is this the same way to connect, as on the old bms.(B+,...,B-)?

Hi i have problem when i go full throttle it turns off and comes back on after a few seconds can u post the link to this bms pls or is there another way as my only problem is the full throttle knock off everything else is fine

It is the bms or the battery. You have to check the voltage from BMS and battery with a Multimeter to be sure if you need a new bms or a battery repair!

Посмотрел видео, эт беда полная, накой чёрт перепаивать провода ячеек либо менять бмс плату, когда мросто можно было поменять предохранитель маленький😂 21 ошибка же решается легко.

The 3 little parallel metal strips are fuses. In the original s they have a Z on it

Check motor Phase wires...or the small ones for the hall sensor. Make sure dor no lose connection.

@ABgSE have you checked ✔ connections firs from battery to controller?? Those tiny wires.
Also....does it shows you the battery level?? Those bricks- - - - - ?

Yes, bms need to be replaced or flashed!

I have the error 21 problem on my scooter l, I changed the battery all together and the error still shows up. Do I need to change the motherboard in the scooter?
Check the connection cabel between your bms and controller. Maybe it is not making contact. No need to change controller!
I see a bit of corrosion and spacing on the controller bms jst port, I tried pushing the wire and the port to contact the controller board if there was any spacing, but I am still getting the error, are there any other things to try?
That corrosion could be your problem...I will suggest to take the controller out and clean that port with Contact Cleaner. If still doesn't work...try another Controller.

I recently bought a G30 to fix for my girlfriend.
The 'problem' was the internal charger that was fucked... at least they said this.
After quite some testing , i came to the conclusion that the input port of the bms is broken ? deffective chip? i don't know...
when i hook it up to the outgoing power cable (to controller) i can fully charge the battery...
the led light blinks red , and when it's full it's stable non blinking blue...
My question is , is the entire bms ready for the garbage can? or can i fix this little chip?:p
Second can i just make a connection to a plug , and charge it with an external 42volt charger? ( connected with the Fat outgoing wires to the controller)
The thin wires do nothing when connected....
I've read alot about not being a good way to charge it.. because it's not balanced charging....
But here on the forum i've read that the bms balances when the current goes out , and not in?.... is this correct?..
The bms does it's job , and also the communication to the controller and display works...

I don't think that your BMS is Broken.
Just trow away that internal charger and buy an external one!

Try this before messing with the BMS.
If it doesn't work you may have to messing with the BMS!
I recomand not trying to change the chip ( until if you know what are doing ) in order NOT to lose time for nothing. You can just buy a new bms on Ali.
Also, if you wanna change that BMS you can let there, the balance old wires. NOT need to desolder them like I did.
Only desolder the wires that are solder on BMS.
This way will be more efficient!

@@Jacksteelmachines I wrote that C+ should be connected directly to the battery WHERE B+ is connected... NOT B+ ( discharge ) on BMS.
And also C- should be still connected to BMS.

And when fully charged, it should blink blue, not constantly blue!
Also under discharge it should be blinking blue faster! So make sure it does that!

i did change controller for new one but it doesnt charge and got code 21 error also can see battery bars
1. I think that you forgot to connect the 4 small wires from BMS to controller. Look at min 17:16. So...check the connections again.
2. If you use a 48v mod ( 12v battery ) you need to flash the scooter again... " Don't show error level 2
3. Give me your e.mail ...we can talk live so I can take a look to you scooter.

5. You BMS is dead.

First check the connection between battery and controller. If is all ok...you need to replace the BMS.

Than look at min 0:27 on this video...that's the connector you want to check on the controller!
Doo you have whats app so i can videocall to you with my problem? I got no error at all when using original battery. Expect gas dont work. Bluetooth does not work with flashing. Every time i try to flash my scotter it says failure and error code 10 while flashing. Otherwise i get error code 21. I buy an new controller board. All problem started after cable burn and scotter turned of in high speed. I fixed all cables but still some problems.

Incearca se deconectezi bateria. Conecteza bateria după 15 min inapoi și vezi dacă s.a rezolvat. Dacă nu, cel mai probabil Controller-ul are o defectiune și trebuie inlocuit.
