Excellent video! I love how you mentioned to be careful when starting with Scout. That is exactly what happened with me and my Gunner is still on Platinum. It really is hard to go to the other classes now that I’m so used to the speed and movement capabilities of Scout.
THAT's why!! xD It was so funny, 'cause in all the discussions I had in the early development for this, I kept running into conversations where "scout mains are... well, they're *scouts*" It was so distinct with scout mains, but harder to distinguish with everyone else, so much overlap, really. Everyone can clutch, everyone can modifying the terrain, and everyone has weapons, but scouts *fly*.
Excellent video! Especially with the Steam Summer Sale just having happened, I’ve got a bunch of friends who picked up the game and are wondering who to play. Will absolutely be pointing them to this! So glad to see you back on YT, rock and stone!
Excellent video! I really liked the concise but broad analysis for each class but especially the shout outs to all the other people in the DRG community that do cool stuff :D I too am quite the versatile player who enjoys all classes at different times, having brought them all to 3 stars platinum in my 1300+ hours, I am more of a chill player cozy playing on haz 3 an occasionally pushing for haz 4 but haven't yet unlocked haz 5 lol. Always love your measured way of speaking and soothing cadence, I wish you the best in managing the medical stuff :)
Oh, cool!! So glad there's someone else that just plays them all!! I'm glad you've found a hazard level you like, and kudos for NOT unlocking hazard 5, yet, there are moments when I really wonder why I put myself under that kind of pressure. *laughs* Most of my crew is happier in 3s and 4s, which makes it a LOT easier for the guys who just bought it to join us. There's so much other cool content, I had to give the shoutouts. I still need to link to specific videos, I was surprised I could only put in five cards, so I need to put more in the links to the videos themselves.
So happy to see (hear?) you again Gyro, excellent video as usual, I really enjoyed hearing your takes on each of the classes, can't wait to hear your thoughts on previous DRG seasons whenever you get to revisiting them, have a nice day and take care of yourself
If you don't want to be team gopher and have thin skin, don't play scout. If you don't want to juggle a fair number of tools and weapons in order to be effective, don't play engie. If you don't want to protect and cover the team, don't play gunner. If you have a conscience and/or no aspiration to becoming a demi-god, don't play driller.
Scout. for speed Engi. For high damage and crowd control Driller. For making your own path and war crimes Gunner. For fun i have just over a 1000hrs of playtime so that's my opinion 😂
Based on your description I should gravitate towards gunner or scout more, even though I consider myself a driller main (still I've made sure to learn at least all classes).
Most ammo efficient build on engi is the reworked turret arc, its CRAZY how little ammo u need for whole swarms. But dont use repellent on platforms otherwise it’ll suck😂
Yeah! I've really been enjoying that build a lot, and, yeah, that is the caveat, and it's especially hard for me, as I've been running bug repellant for the last couple of seasons.

I'm so glad I am able to be.

So cool you have folks getting it too! Hope it is helpful to them. Your crew was a lot of fun to play with. Rock and Stone!

Fantastic video with a lot of great references! Love it!
its uncanny how aptly you just described my entire view on them all, while adding in the bits i missed :D
😁 So happy to oblige!!

Cool video, really well researched! Keep it up.
Thanks! I'll try!
Scout. for speed
Engi. For high damage and crowd control
Driller. For making your own path and war crimes
Gunner. For fun
i have just over a 1000hrs of playtime so that's my opinion 😂
You SHOULD have opinions by then! Thanks for sharing them
The only content creator on the platform is back!!
🤣
Scout is like a drug.
*laughs* It sure is... and adding Special Powder only makes the class all the more deliciously suspect. Love what you do with him.
the way you talk really rocks my stone 😳
😊 I talk a lot in my videos, I guess... Glad you like my voice!

Glad you have! And there's always overlap.

Wait a minute...but you told me to start on scout!
I know... but scout *is* fun. 💖
Rock & stone!
we basically have the same title lol
lol! Off by just the one word... Kurzgesagt does good work.
I had to pick Scout since all my friends took the other classes, but I nonetheless enjoy him
I'm glad! I really enjoyed gunner, when my friends wouldn't pick him, I'll admit. And scout can be SO much fun.
