If only there's more variety in KOFXIII's tournaments, it can be better. But sadly all I see is Iori, Mr. Karate as if it's meta.

Xierra Marron Ik,Normal Iori does so much raw damage in a normal combo,plus the Anchor damage!!
Iori,Mr. Karate and Kim is a meta,imbalanced game mechanics makes them overpowered.
Those two characters alone destroyed any sense of balance this game had at a high level but most of the shit that makes them op isn't accessible to people who aren't good enough to do well in a tournament, try looking at pools or tournaments before the DLC character came out to see more diverse matches
In kof 98 all it is, is Iori/daimon/orochi chris. Lol

wanna play a game where iori isn't top tier ? KOF 2002 UM has him as a solid mid tier... but then you have Kula K' and Nameless everywhere in that game lol, but it's still much better than Iori's rekkas in 13

now I stopped 98 but I still play 2002um sometimes.
XIII its a peak of kof on top of kof.
I can't say xiv is shit
its still a good game
but for just a casual game not so much good.
in 2002 pressure is too strong in xiii its more strong.

Infinite rekka it's called i think
It's a shitty exploit combo that loops the opponent in an infinite combo. It was never fixed as SNK pretty much went under after this game
He is basically wiffing the first hit of the move and goes to the second hit which keeps the opponent knocked up in juggle state. This is very hard and needs precise timing to do.
Nonetheless I really hope they make a new version of this game because other than the OP characters I think the game is pretty interesting and challenging to learn.

Had them removed infinite from Iori and Beny, the game would have been the best of alll time IMO
Iori would still be a top tier without it. The infinite itself is a very hard technique that barely anyone is able to use to actually kill someone, most of them use it to extend combos and thats about it. Even if he never had it, Iori would still have all the other tools that make him what he is.

I love kof but this is bullshit. It breaks the game and the balance. Also kof 13 is go dlc to win or bust.

KOF siempre fue así de desequilibrado. Los personaje Top con mejores características son los más elegidos porque el resto de los personajes no sirven para un torneo en serio.

Nah, gameplay too. KoF XIII has its issues with specific infinite’s like Iori’s but the core mechanics are far superior.

Interesante, no me llama la atención por el hecho de estar en 3D. Tu comentario me incita a investigar más a fondo, por ahora no te lo podría afirmar ya que sólo tengo en mi steam KOF 2002 UM, KOF 98 UM y XIII.
En lo personal, me gustan mucho. A pesar de no haber jugado mucho el XII me gusta mucho el diseño, veré lo del XIV cuando pueda.
En conclusión GODIori siempre es lo mejor

No, it's very easy to do. I often see many people who can do it, even small children can do it. All players in the tournament can do it too, but they don't want to do infinity combos for fair play without exploiting bugs.

ugh, this game is so unbalanced. Kain even had to give up on his main char and go for a tier whoring. Top tiers in this game are too strong.
That's why my two favorites were Romance and Misterio, their teams remained the same throughout the entire xiii life span, but I'm not too bummed out about the team dlc and infinite situation, thanks to games like mvc2 and whatt not, you hate to see the same chars over and over but, it is lame, luckily we have xiv, and if people who complain about xiv can come back to king of infinites xiii.

yo pensé que EVO manejaba a puro profesional, pero con ver a la falta de secuencia en movientos, falta de intusion y de talento por parte de de Kain, al solo respaldarse por un infinito que no requiere de nada, veo que cualquier pendejo entra aquí.

la neta que desepcion esta nueva forma de jugar, ahora solo se trata de pegar al enemigo a una esquina y no dejarlo caer como si fuera un pinche balon de fut, combos infinitos de mierda, ahora solo de trata de eso, infinitos, nada como jugar a la antigua, con infinitos de tres segundos maximo, practicamente ahora puedes matar a tu adversario usando solo infinitos, durante los 60 segundos completos no mamen.
Son rekas, no salen fácil, aunque igualmente entiendo
Buen nivel, pero en lo particular prefiero el KOF 98, me parece más equilibrado y sin tantos infinitos.
