21:08 My Honest Thoughts - Hry
Awesome review! Two eneloop AA pro 2450mAh batteries work nicely in the Binbok Ultra Pro. I like how there are no holes on the grips for gunk to get into. The grips are glued and there are some clips but they can be pried off to open up the controller if needed. It feels much more grippy compared to the EVO Pro.
The batteries are one of the greatest parts of this controller. That and the Hall triggers are just fantastic.
I thought at first it didn't had back buttons. But looks amazing
If you haven't already, take a look at the binbok gemini. I have it, and while I don't care for how light the sticks feel, everything else is pretty solid.
Already have a review up on the channel 😉
can you connect more then 1 controller per reciecver? Im not keen to have 1 per controller vs a mini pc build
It is a shame this controller does not have the hall effect joysticks. BinBok needs a multi-platform controller with hall effect joysticks, in order to compete with Gulikit's King Kong 2 Pro.
This looks incredibly beautiful and useful
It's sooo comfortable too! Impressed!
Is there a cary case i can use ?
New version coming out within next few days with Hall Effect Joysticks and White Colour. (Coming to my AUS store also)
Did it come out? Whats it called
White ultra V2 is all I know it by. I have some in AUS but seen no promoting yet.
Is this better switch controller
Over official Nintendo switch pro controller?
Your shirt is dope!
Thank you!!
What type of battery does it use? Xbox ? So I can purchase another one to charge overnight
Sad that this controller doesn't have hall effect joystick
It does now. White V2. I have some in AUS but not on website yet.
@@PiMania I have to wonder why there's a non-hall-effect one in the first place
@@SweetTodd Hall effect is relatively new. PS4/Xbox Controllers (Except Elite) don't have them. (Even most newer handhelds etc)
@@PiMania Probably for a similar reason why Micro USB stuck for so long. A lot of brands cut corners on the joysticks until enough people tell that all potentiometer degradation wasn't worth the saved pennies.
Do you plan to review the hyperion pro and composite with the doyoky one?
We've got the new Hyperion pro but they didn't send the retail version, which is slightly different, so we're currently waiting on a replacement to arrive!
@@128KB Do you plan to make a comparison too?
Yo! I was watching and old vid for an asus gaming keyboard review from Kitgurutech and i was like hang on... This seems familiar.
It was you!
It was indeed me! Good spotting, I used to do freelance reviews for them a while back, as did Christina! :)
hahaha Oh, you've found Andy's dark origin story 🤣
Can you swap A/B? If you want to use it on pc, can you swap those buttons so it's correct?
You can't physically change the buttons but obviously in game you can with steam input, reWASD, etc.
I really want this exact controller but with hd rumble and hall effect sticks...
That would make a perfect controller for everyday use
I was about to buy 2 8bitdo ultimate with charger dock controllers and now after watching this video, I'm not sure what to get between the 8bitdos and this BinBoks. I will use the controllers for PC gaming, emulators from snes to ps3 and Switch. Has anyone tried both and has a preference?
can you bind +/- to the back buttons
You can :)
Does rumble cause the gyro to have inaccuracies? That's what keeps me away from the 8bitdo ultimate, so was curious if that was an issue here too?
The rumble has different settings including turning it off.
@@CandarianGaming Thanks. When the rumble is turned on, and using gyro motion aiming, does rumble cause erratic motion that could effect shooters like splatoon, and using bow in monster hunter rise?
@@mehra6712 The rumble isn't insane or anything. I personally leave it on max, but you can minimalize it or have it completely off anyway and I've been using gyro in shooters for 8 years. Also the gyro "switch" on the controller is great for games that don't include gyro i.e. resident evil 4
That isn’t a issue unless ur playing on max rumble (8bitdo ultimate controller) which nobody really uses cuz its pretty strong
This is great for most gams but not for person shooter games like apex and overwatch, it has huge input lag and its messing up my aim. Tbh Idk what controller right that has less input lag for switch :/
How i buy from brazil? :(
Can you review supcase unicorn beetle pro forma case for switch oled?
Its like the mumba blade but it comes with the front cover to protect the screen and hold game cards
That thing is way too limiting. I guess if you only want to use OEM JoyCons, it's fine. I have one phone case from them, it's a good one.
Is that review serious? I tested the controller as well, but in my opinion, there is a real big mistake in the funcion. You can use the macro recording button use to map other buttons to a macro button as well. BUT, in case of binbok, if you use the Turbo on the referenced button, the turbo is taken over for the maped button as well, an that is a really big mistake, because the controller lose possibilities because this restriction. The rest, agree, it is comparable to different controllers in this price region.
Well, this is an interesting controller, but it doesn’t have everything I want……. After all, if you compare this to an 8bido pro, two or ultimate controller, which has access to its ultimate app it’ll be harder to set up certain macros after all, not everyone can program the input manually like some people, but more importantly, it is accessible to anyone and you can choose between PlayStation style or xbox/most console styles
And then, if we compared to one of the earlier reviews the MOBAPAD Chitu with the recent update to its app, and the fact this one possesses an NFC reader, it’s obvious that one was designed for switch..
And I don’t think it’s bad I’m just saying, while both mobapad and binbok controllers have mechanical triggers and mechanical face buttons at hall affect sticks.
But when compared to 8bitdo whick possesses a wider potential for most consoles it feels weaker.
I must admit your honest thoughts were the key point to this review it help me understand that this controller is not for me I believe it does not live up to the ultra pro standards
Great points all round! There are definitely other options that may be better depending on peoples needs/wants.
Some people don't want the extra hassle of apps etc but others will benefit from that for sure!
I'd say a bigger brand like 8BitDo will always be better quality control/build quality etc.
I was surprised by this controller though when thinking of BinBok's other controllers and their previous build quality etc. This one is a massive step up over what we've seen from them before.
@@128KB well, if we’re comparing it to the previous models of the same series and yes, this is a huge step forward. You have to give credit where credits due.
Admittedly, there are alternatives out there that are cheaper, but do not have the same quality . But there are some models that have decent ergonomics and better input standard controllers. Unfortunately, it’s not easily accessible to many people so in this situation I would agree is a good starting point.
Although the PXN 9607 it’s very decent controller as well at a better price. Because I agree with you when you said it was the comfiest at that time and I have held in my hand. It’s also very comfy in my opinion.
I disagree with you on macro side. 8bitdo macro is only useful for simple macros like combos for fighting game and some other simple instructions. While this one and other controllers can actually record every single thing that you did and replicate it. It’s like you have a physical bot that can automate complex moves for you.
Software is a nice addition but not an advantage of 8bitdo. The dock on the other hand is one big advantage.
You Can't really test Deadzones with a Game. (A game with some inertia will have awful Deadzones) Via calibrate Control Sticks is the better way which they pass great.
Can it be use on Xbox series x
Yes. Either wired, or via the included 2.4 GHz USB receiver, or with a wireless Bluetooth adapter.
No. It does not work with xbox consoles
