Not wanting to not realize the true end of life of these batteries quite yet, it was decided that they would go back into service for small consistent workloads - running maintainer battery chargers for cars, trucks & heavy equipment. Powering basic lighting circuits & security camera systems & a UPS or three. Reinstall took just a few hours with the exception of the electrician to come around and install some proper power circuits inside the workshop - currently run from a sub-board from a larger 3phase generator.

Nice! My 2nd hand 18650 cell powerwall that you're youtubes helped inspire is in year 7. The oldest 14s battery has passed over 2,000cycles at average 36% DOD and going strong. Per you're example, I use Batrium and the visibility into the individual packs gives me confidence things are safe enough. These cells can really perform when treated respectfully :)
And to think a lot of 18650 cells i've seen in laptop batteries are rated at something like 300-500 cycle life!

Lots of product promos placement and links. No testing of the SOH of your recycled powerwall after 5 years. Good solid fire resistant construction and practice in place 5* kudos. Dont understand the 3mm armour plating are you expecting hostiles?
Lets face it, its unattended so if it goes ape it will just burn down, so cut back all the blue gums and bush near by. Stay awesome buddy.

I don't, I've documented how I've done it - tried not to teach - just educate, they are dangerous when not used and managed correctly.
i think the MOSFET in the pcm 60x has blow if it is that a easy fix

I am a bit afraid of 18650 batteries. Did you have a fire with any of your batteries? How do you handle fire risk?
You should be afraid, they can be dangerous - I manage all my batteries so never had a fire.

i think they were 10mm x 40mm tech screws i think

I walked in halfway through a conversation about that. Apparently part of the shed approval was lighting rods? I don't really know but when I left they were still doing the 240v side of things so don't know to be honest.
