- 10 years ago two MASSIVELY popular shows who both took on the current social media landscape and beyond, came together to create iParty With Victorious. With the uniqueness of both iCarly and Victorious, this created a fun crossover filled with fan service and was treated as one of the biggest TV events for 2011 on Nickelodeon.

Great job on the timing of this video. This was an end of an area 😢. I stopped watching Nick regularly after these shows were done.
Jordan fringe did Sam already meet cat in party ,so why did Sam and cat act like their just meeting for fisrt time ?
I feel like they didn’t interact with the victorious cast enough. Imagine at the party both teams of both shows work together to expose the cheater. Sam and jade plan to harm him. Carly and Tori want to expose him on iCarly and the other characters do wacky shenanigans that fit their characters. Cat and Gibby fall in love for some reason... when she finds out his beauty mark is fake she stops liking him
That would have been cool to see as well, maybe they cross over again as adults 👀

it wasn't the whole cast, but it was still a substantial amount.
What I hate is that these two shows could've had a Buffy/Angel style relationship where they frequently interact for each others' special episodes. But they didn't.
Like what if when Tori starts to become famous in Tori Goes Platinum, she asks Carly for advice on how to deal with the negative attention she's getting?
I feel like this episode was more of an icarly episode.Think of the first Jimmy/Timmy power hour for example as Timmy gets more of the focus than Jimmy

As a kid I heard Sam say this before I heard "denial's not just a river in Egypt" so I was super confused and thought that was the phrase and spent actual years wondering what on earth Utah has to do with denial, like maybe there was some famous river there I didn't know about?

I can't believe that the crossover is officially 10 years old now! The early 2010's were a different time, and I loved how they also had an "All That" reunion with Kenan Thompson's cameo!

Icarly started in 2007 and ended on 2012.
Most things that they showed in the show hasnt even happened at the time yet.
It was a “thing” but not enough to be relevant or significant at the time.
Not many people couldve actually “relate” at the time it aired.
So They really did “predict” a lot of things.

The fact that not everything happened yet and the show presented it first means the show predicted it.
😂 it doesnt have to be everything you only need to get 1 right tor the argument to be true.
Predictions can happen even unpurposely.
This plot was even better in Hungary, where Tori and Carly had the same voice actor dubbing them. Homeboy was literally dating clones
Considering I was a bit older than the target audience by a couple years when this premiered, I loved the Spencer and Sikowitz stuff in the hot tub. It was all rather bizarre but I tend to love bizarre humor. Sikowitz was pretty much my favorite character when it came to Victorious anyway though.

It actually had more to do that even to this day I still check out cartoons, but wasn’t super interested in Nick shows. ICarly came on at one point and it was kind of funny, and eventually Victorious came out and I watched it too. It sort of started as just something to watch, especially before we had a million streaming options, and eventually I really ended up liking them.

Now that a Victorious reboot is in the being talked about and the icarly reboot is coming out next week maybe we can get a sequel to this amazing crossover 🤔...
Well, I think the cast of iCarly is still close with them according to comment and liking each of the cast’s posts. If the revival is a success, then it possible that we would see it in season 7-8 of iCarly

The main issue I had with this crossover is the fact the 2 shows didn't interact with each other enough. The theme song Mashup was cool!

I was and still is disappointed with this crossover. I love the concept of icarly and victorious coming together , but I did not like the plot. It took way to damn long form the characters to meet each other. I think a better plot would have been something like Spencer getting a job as a arts teacher at Hollywood arts and that's how the icarly gang meet the victorious gang.
I feel like it would have been a better episode if the boyfriend-cheating story would have been only the setup for them to meet. Like imagine if everything we saw in this crossover was only the first 30-45 minutes and then it continued with more cast interactions and another story
That’s why Danger Games is a better collision of two shows cuz they meet at the end of the first part

6:16 anyone else notices how Victoria always holds up her index finger when she preforms? Anyway, as much as I love this crossover, I wished we had more interaction between the characters of each show, pointing out their similarities. At least we had some of that in the Killer Tuna Jump episode of Sam and Cat. Also I wished Sam and Cat addressed the events of the crossover. Finally, I'd love to see the Victorious characters appear in the revival since the show never had a proper finale.

The funny one is actually when Spencer was watching Trina! One Women Show and Freddie was watching the play Tori made on Who Did It To Trina 😂
Sam's Butter Sock is waay overpowered.

This was the episode where I pretty much realized Ariana had potential to be big one day as a singer...and then of course she blew every Disney Channel star and Nickelodeon star out of the water.
Well if you want to be funny about it. Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears are Disney stars and I think both are just as bug if not bigger than Grande.
I feel Miley Cyrus is just as big
This episode is very on brand for iCarly, cuz the iCarly crew are always going on some kind of adventure
One of the funniest things about this crossover is, when they're singing, they had to lower Ariana Grande's volume so she wouldn't steal the moment and you can clearly see her shouting and belting through the whole thing
The crossover will forever be iconic
Do I wish the characters had interacted more? Yes.
Do I still love this crossover and the mashup at the end? Yes.
To me, this was the climax of both shows. iCarly was winding down, and it turned out Victorious was too, though more unexpectedly.
Also, this episode just has so many storylines that they don't finish or they abandon at some point. Trina loses the children but is never seen looking for them, which could have been the funniest part of this plot, as if she didn't care and wasn't worried about getting in trouble. There's the thing with Beck never getting scared. Sikowitz tries to scare him like two times but then they just forget about it. You'd think there would be some payoff with something finally scarying him, but no. Gibby loses his mole, which is a ludacris subplot but still funny, but it also doesn't matter. He and Trina could have met between both their searches. I can even see Trina's face as he asks her is she saw a mole anywhere, then he could suggest for them to help each other in looking for the kids and the mole and she would accept just to get extra help without actually giving a damn about the mole.
She is seen trying to find though and then gets flack for not finding them on time. I also thought the last scene for the second plot was him giving up and I don't think the last part in general really needs resolving.
Thank you for calling out the horrible makeup/prosthetics that is borderline nightmare fuel.

Well of course they didn’t because this crossover episode takes place before Sam & Cat was even created and even if it is canon, they only interacted for a brief while. In Sam & Cat, cat does recognize Sam from iCarly but she didn’t mention the party at Kenan cuz this crossover isn’t canon

I've never understood the whole connected universe thing. If Tori exists, how do they explain Shelby? Didn't someone watch Drake and Josh on one of the shows, too? Yet Helen makes an appearance at one point. It's a mess.

If I remember correctly, during this crossover, Sam briefly mentions as her and Carly look at the photo posted online, “Hey, that girl looks like that Shelby Marx chick you fought” and then they kinda just moved on, lmao
I mean, IRL people can look similar to other people? Like there are plenty of people who get told "hey you look a lot like this celebrity" why would this be any different?
i mean it’s a casual show so i don’t think they take it super seriously. like obviously the april fools episodes aren’t canon. and the rest of it are just easter eggs. like carly watched drake and josh before and cat mentioned an episode of drake and josh.
They mention that Tori looks like Shelby but they don't mention that Andre looks like Harper from the TV show iCarly episode the one who there is a dinosaur in it

Nobody could’ve foreseen how monumental this crossover would have been.
As a fan of both shows I actually hated this crossover. The plot of Carly & Tori being cheated on by the same guy was an awful plot. Also the characters barely interacted with each other throughout the whole special.
Also the guy who played Steven did not look like a teenager he looked like a grown man.
None of the actors were kids they were all 18-24
Lol have you not seen shows about teenagers, it's practically a tradition to have them be played by 20-somethings, because then you don't have to worry about child labor laws

This crossover was the highlight of my day when I saw it both my favourite shows coming together in a special however I did feel like the Victorious cast got little screentime compared to icarly.
I remember watching this live when it came out. Me and my cousins who were living g together at the time all LOVED both shows so we decided to all watch it together. Was a great memory I will cherish forever. I miss these shows the older I get. I just wanna go back to those times again.

Having a watch party with my neighbors for this episode on the day it aired is one of the biggest highlights of my childhood. I lost my shit at Keenan Thompson blowing the trumpet in Steven's face in the closet lol

You should do a video on the 2006 Disney Channel special "That's So Suite Life of Hannah Montana." That was what sparked the tradition of live-action Disney and Nick shows crossing over
Even though I’ve only seen the crossover recently (didn’t watch either show when they aired) I could tell the ending song would’ve generated a lot of hype from fans of both shows. While there should’ve been more interactions with both casts, the Rex/Sam rap battle was good as well as the hot tub scene with Spencer/Sikowitz. Some missed potential, but I still enjoyed it a lot

Let's not forget that Leon Thomas also played a musician named Harper in an episode of iCarly as well!!! The episode when an TV studio offers to buy the show so they can air it on TV and then everything just goes so wrong😂

Not only did I watch this as it premiered, I also watched the extended version with deleted scenes. Best hands down was the Improv game in the hot tub always ending with Spencer losing and getting dunked.

I’d absolutely love for a Victorious reboot too as the iCarly reboot was so good! I know everyone would be willing to return, with maybe the exception of Ariana just because she might be too busy, but I could also see her making the time to return even if just for an episode or two since she returned for the table read for the 10th anniversary last year

nice vid, Jordan! This collab was really interesting and also very iconic for both shows... but I remember that when I was younger I wasn't a big fan of victorious for some reason, I knew about the existence of the show but iCarly was indeed more cool for me lol.
so it wasn't something very big for me, but as I knew both shows, it was way more special and that's why this episode is remarkable in my opinion!

Adding in Kenan really completes this! Made it almost feel like a triple crossover to me.
I remember watching this the night it premiered when I was 4 in 2011 and I loved it and it was an incredible experience for me and I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since it came out
