I've seen a few videos on welt pockets and this is by far the clearest and makes the whole process so simple. He is precise and doesn't waffle. Excellent.
I so agree he doesn't waffle. If I am sewing and following a video I stop it at intervals and this is an ideal one. Others waffle on so much that I lose the plot and will to live. What a great video

This tutorial was a big help. I am making a baby quilt with a hidden pocket in one of the corners to put a special message in it for my future grandson.
I could have cried when I watched this. I've been struggling with a different method for sooo long and this is so straightforward. Much easier to understand with a clear demo too rather than trying to work out someone's badly written instructions. Tried it last night and all the stress of doing a pocket just rolled away. I do a welt pocket every few years and this is always my go to video. Used a wide, gross grain ribbon for the welts once. Turned out great ^_^ Thanks for the tutorial!

OMG! You have made this much more simple. I use to get headaches trying to figure it out on pattern pieces and confusing instructions. This is a great guide.

This is one of the best tutorial for welt pockets. I've been sewing for years and could never master this technique until I viewed this video. I have to admit, on my first try I was unsuccessful after my second attempt, I mastered it perfectly and was able to make a pair of trousers and they look off the rack. Thank you!!!!!

I made the hat...the one like your wearing, after I watched your hat video. I made one in army green and the other grey. They both turned out great. Now I am making a western style vest. Your video on making pockets it's great. I'm staring on the vest this week. You seem to know your shit and I will certainly watch more of your "how to videos".
You rock! I was going to try to figure this out all on my own and decided to look it up really quick. I found some other instructions and they made me want to just leave the pocket be and sew the vest w/o then I found you and they pockets look amazing and it was sooooooooooooo easy!
