Husqvarna Auto mower is quieter, more efficient, and the company has been doing robotic lawnmowing since 1995. Should invest in them instead of the miimo.
I think your dandelions are cute. Anyway that's a neat robot. My yard is big and C shaped. Not sure if it would work for me but would be great. What happens when it rains? I love that it's quiet. My neighborhood is so annoying that if one person makes any kind of lawn noise everyone starts mowing even if the grass is short. We mow as little as we can. Having a quiet robot go out at night to do it for us would be great and the neighbors don't have to know. I hate the sound of lawn equipment.
As an owner of a self propelled ego mower I believe robot mower technology has a long way to go. My yard is bigger than yours but not by a lot and this clearly wouldn't work for me. Leaving the unit outside and having exposed cable running all around my yard is a deal breaker for sure. I'll stick with my battery powered push mower
The grass grows over the wire in a couple of weeks. You will never see it again after that. BTW, my Robomow can keep up with mowing a couple of acres. You may want to do a little research before you decide that it doesn't work.
My Robomow is almost completely silent, as opposed to the (quite obvious) Whining noise the Miimo makes. Robomow also has a rain sensor so it does not cut in the rain, and there is a Robomow app to control settings from your phone. Maybe you should review a Robomower.
Sounds great but what about those trollers who travel the neighborhood night and day looking for the easy pick up for a quick steal then down to sell at the local flea market? ????
Hi. I realy like your vidos. But I had to coment on this one. This is the older modell. The New one, that came 2 years ago here in europe, do hawe an app with Bluetooth connetion. Also the mower that you have is able to mowe areas at least 5-6 times the area you are using it on. 🙂 Have been mounting hundreds of this mowers for the last 5 years, and like them the best of all brands i have tried. It's possible to put the chargeing base in a corner so it's a litle bit more hidden. (it should take me about 1,5 to 2 hours to Mount one on your size lawn 😉)
While cool.....the real solution for a robot lawn mower is one that like a Roomba or Neato vacuum. First you have an app like you mentioned and then you let it go and map your yard then you use an app to set virtual barriers where you don't want it to go, thus eliminating installing barrier wire. This map would then allow you to set schedules, zones if you want to mow certain areas, and show you the mower progress... From the app you would be able to do numerous other things too such as show when the blades need to be replaced, power on/off the device, reset virtual barriers, start it whenever you want, etc... Just one downfall to that idea.... Mower needs internet access at all times to do that.
not really, we have 4TB micro SDcards in production already, a simple yard map would maybe take 20GB at most, the programming to run the damn thing would take another 200 GB at worst, just store everything on the damn mower, seriously we have kids toys that run more sophisticated software these days than this mower would need
@@liamaustin8123 No, it means you're lazy. What a useless mower. You can't have grass over 2 1/2"???? I mow mine over 3 1/2" so the grass crowds out the weeds. 2 1/2" is TOO short.
I agree. It seems only applicable for very small areas that would take a really minimal amount of time to mow anyway. For the price of probably 10-20x times the appropriate lawn mower for the area. A robotic lawnmower should be made to appeal to property managers who measure in acres and would require programming more sophisticated than a walmart brand roomba. The Husqvarna could also do both front and rear lawn. It's definitely a superior design.
The robomower is the best. It out performs all the robotic mowers.
