I love how they recreated the original duet from the actual 25th anniversary and never realized how similar Chancey looks to Dan Seals! Very well done and Brooke’s voice is so good. I was really hoping this would be a single. It’s a highlight on the album.
I just realized Chancey does look like Dan Seals.. in any case for those that may not know of course this was originally written for Seals by Paul Davis...

Same outfits and same stools.
Nice cover. Anybody else notice how they recreated the Classic pose on the stools and clothing that Dan and Marie wore when they performed it on an award show almost 40 years ago. Chancey even has the same beard that Dan did. It's eerie.
This is one of my favorite songs, and though nothing will ever surpass the original (imho), it is very worthy cover. It's a very difficult song and this attempt hits the mark.
Marie is great, but Dan is even better.
Had a chance to work venue crew setting up stage and all that as a college football team project, decided I wanted to be there the entire weekend. Got to work like security after all was said and done. Chancey William’s band was playing as a second opener and I got the opportunity to watch them soundcheck this song and it was quite easily the most beautiful thing I’ve heard

Uhh, excuse moi, Dan Seals WAS a country artist in the 1980s and 90s. He was only a pop artist when he was with John Ford Coley and back then he was known as England Dan, a nickname given to him by his brother Jim Seals of Seals and Croft when they were teenagers because of a slight English accent when speaking

I wish I could have said hi, or bye, when the Chancey Williams preformed at the fair in HemingFord, Nebraska. All I got to do was go up to the stage with my best friend when they started to sing "Country Roads" by John Denver. We got to sing along. I wish that could happen every night! But then again, wishes don't always come true.
