Wierd, i find it distracting and frustrating that people talk over the game and go as slow as possible instead of just going through the dungeon and getting to the point.

The level designs, the story, they went all in on this game. It's the best game ever, and most likely always will be.
The scarecrow song. I couldn't figure out how to get to that part of the dungeon for hours. This is the 1st part of the game I had to look up. I would have never figured that out because I made a song to the scarecrow didn't read what he said for some reason and don't remember the song 😢
I have played the song multiple times but he hasnt shown up
me either i don't get it. it says "played the scarecrow song" but nothing happens. i've read that you should see the song in the menu though, which i don't. so i wonder if you need to activate it or something??
@joelalain I think you have to make the song when you are a kid and re learn it as an adult. Been half a year now I already forgot but something like that.
I think you chose whatever you want for the scarecrow as a kid then as an adult you go back to him and play the song for him and it becomes official I think

Volvagia was such a cool boss, but a bit on the easy side imo. If you've read the Ocarina of Time manga, the killing of this boss is also pretty emotional, because Link knew Volvagia as a baby-dragon. I know it's not canon, but definitely gave some more depth to the backstory.

Getting the megaton hammer - and I’m not exaggerating here - has been the most difficult task in the past 6-7 years of gaming for me. I really just suck at balancing Link on ledges.
Years ago I had to get help with that part. Sucked at it then, too!

Try doing it on an emulator with a joystick w no sensitivity. It's 8 directional with no slow walking, either running or nothing.

I spent 20 mins walking around looking for the dang hammer and didnt know you could bomb the fake door to get past it.
That happened to me to but it was me trying to find a key
yeah that was EXTREMELY counterintuitive. the whole idea is that it's a *fake* passageway. plus IIRC that's the only fake door with a real passageway behind it

for the people trying to get the hammer who are falling off the ledge - just before you step on the switch to deactivate the fire surrounding the chest with the hammer, cast farore's wind ( if you have it). this way, if you fall off the ledge, you can re-cast farore's wind, and return to this exact point ! also, another handy tip - this is a pain, but try and kill the keese before you set off to get the hammer. this way, you dont have the worry of them attacking you while you're trying to navigate not falling :)

Another tip if you don't have Farore's Wind is to go regular pace on the first few stair ledges because they are narrower than the later ones closet to the chest. You have enough time that you shouldn't have to rush.

at first i didn't like ocarina, in part because it looked too dated (especially the plains that you see near the beginning are a big turn off)... but then it grew on me... and after doing the dungeons i can really say that they are absolutely fantastic and some of the best of zelda, even with limited graphics. the puzzles and layout are really great!
Fun fact. This original music are recitations of the Quran

17:31 ok this is like my 3rd time not being able to figure out a dungeon just because I didn’t think link could jump that far, I miss the dedicated jump puttons on games
Same here, was stuck for days on that part back in my late teens. The game even compensates by making Link clip slightly upwards, when grabbing the ledge, to correct for the fact, that that jump actually is too high according to in-game physics.

Getting the hammer was way more difficult for me... I'm playing from an emulator in my laptop and it doesn't work with any Xbox nor PS controller... So the one that I have is Soo delicate... Just a slightly move and I fall

I think I know but not 100% sure which area you’re referring to. Correct me if I’m wrong.
When you reach above the maze room with rolling boulders (14:00 this exact spot look right and up) there’s a really high platform that you need to play the Scarecrow song from this spot to get the Scarecrow to pop up on that high playform. You also need the long shot to reach him and the platform above him (I believe as I don’t think the regular hook shot is long enough).

The Ŵater Temple was my least favourite dungeon in this game, but the Fire Temple was my favourite.
I thought that Gorons told you how many were left when you rescued them. Maybe I mis remember? How would you know you got them all, is it possible to forget one?
They all have a treasure chest in their cells I think? If you see a chest on your dungeon map, there's probs one more goron to save.
I think it's in Gerudo fortress that they tell you there's more to be rescued?
@@ykMMD and in said chests are keys required to complete the temple, so I would think there is no way to do so without freeing all the gorons.

Don’t worry, if you have completed the forest temple you can go back in time to child link by putting the master sword back in the stone at the time temple, then you can go to lake hylia and talk to the scarecrow and you will have to play 8 notes. make sure they are easy to remember or just take a picture of the notes you play, so you can play them as adult link to the scarecrow and he iwll teach you the scarecrow song

Can Volvagia be battled if one releases the Gorons but does NOT speak to them after opening their cells? Specifically, if even 1 Goron is not spoken to after opening their cells, you cannot battle Volvagia even if you have the Boss Key (because Navi will prevent you reminding you to fulfill Darunia's promise of releasing his Goron brothers)?

I found the missing key. I somehow played the temple of time tune on the stone to the left big circle room and missed the key it was a door right under it. To anyone having this issue just walk out off the dungeon to reset it.

Why does Durunia lock the door behind him anyways? Should have just left it unlocked. When you go fight the boss, he isn't even in there where does he go? That would have been a cool boss fight if you both had to work together to defeat Volvagia.

In the fire temple where the 3 faces with fire are, you enter the room with the boss door.There on one side there are vases and on two there are fairies, one you can capture and the other you use to Regenerate you And so you will enter the battle with several hearts and if you die the fairy you captured will revive you sorry for answering 5 months later lol
