I won £100 on 12 days of Xmas £50 doubler last week
too many, too many empty winnings tickets. Paul, in two videos of more than an hour that you made, how many tickets did you scratch? so many and there wasn't a single win, just one (without asking too much) of 50 pounds. Maximum win £20 and that horrible black ticket (I don't know what it's called) gave you a whole £30 out of 50 or 60 you scratched off. Do you know how we say in Italy when these things happen? let's say (excuse the vulgar phrase) that it is a real joke. Lotteries are a reverse Robin Hood...they steal from the poor to make the rich even richer 😢

The thing is Paul it is luck, your buying one card from multiple shops. Those sort of odds make it highly variable. I don't know if buying full packs upto the value of 1000 would have given you more back???. But then it only takes one decent win. Quandary
Good thinking Giles but I've bought full packs on a few occasions and that doesn't seem to work either - I've only ever had 60% max payout so it really is just random pot luck 🤞

Totally agree with you LooneyBoy - those Black and Gold £5 cards are an absolute disgrace! In nearly 20 years of playing scratchcards I've never known a worse card for (lack of) payouts. Mind you none of them seem to have decent payouts these days, feels like a real con.

£5 cards are an absolute waste with barely any wins over £20 and never see full cards, £2 and £3 cards are better for entertainment but everyone knows its a mugs game

Maybe you should travel up north and do 250 pounds worth and the same amount against the south or competitions with different county's Essex's verses Sussex and so on . Who knows it really could be you . Good to have back . Hope you had a great holiday .

It’s not strange you get half your money back most of the time because you can’t beat the odds
Returns are usually much more than 50% but a big part goes on jackpot but they are usually over 80-90% return

It's hard to believe you scratched 200 tickets and 20 was your best win. You might have been better off doing 2 pound tickets.

A ridiculous amount of money to lose and could have done more shorter mixed videos. A punch in the face for those suffering in a cost of living crisis and a lovely amount to have spent in Florida. Totally grim. :((

Think you might have had more luck if you'd have bought two or three cards from each pack.
For your big video you should have done a big mix up of £1, £2, £3 cards, two of each. Too risky and too boring £5 card after £5 card
