Unfortunately, Bob died before this album was made. Some extra info (if you want): Peter was killed during the making of the album in 1987, probably being replaced by his son Andrew due to their strong vocal resemblance. Junior was killed in 1999, 6 years after the album’s release.
About the Never Ending Wailers...the fact is Neville O' Reilly Livingston was with no doubt the best singer of them. And tho he had no university education, he is still definitely the best behaving Wailer. You want proof? Just listen to any of his interviews!! He always speaks good English, like did Peter Tosh also. Both of them were not bragging with patwa, but spoke their mother language, that is - proper English, unlike Bob Marley who could speak good English, but wanted to show off and confused interviewers with patois. If Peter Tosh was a very intelligent man, so was Bunny also. Bunny and Peter were performing in an excellent manner, but Bob smoked so much ganja that he almost dropped down during some song. You don't believe, you die-hard Marley fans? Just watch some of his concerts and you'll see more than clearly that he could hardly end the show without falling asleep. He didn't seem to be very smart, just a great song writer. So there.
Why are you comparing these singers. Totally different. By the way Peter Tosh did not speak Patois? Well then you didnt listen to some of the interviews. Escpecially when he went mad about those people who only sing dull love songs. Without Marley some of you guys you wouldnt even know reggae. You wouldnt even know how to spell it. You ve made me smile. Yes Bob.Marley did try to confuse. I m English. At first l used to have to keep rewinding his interviews until l got into the patwa. but l loved it. I mean l m from Birmingham. UK l don't.HAVE to speak in a Brummie accent. I can stop it at say a job interview, speaking in public. Same thing but different. However, l never saw him anything other than totally give his all beginning to end of any concert and l saw him 8 times. Now are you getting him mixed up with the old man Winston of Burning Spear. Haha. I ve seen him unable to stand up! Long time ago. Oh and l didn't think any of the Wailers were badly behaved, at least not professionally which is all we should be interested in?
