One of the most amusing things about HxH to me, is that at the beginning, the world feels akin to something like Pokemon (even though people start dying pretty quick in the exam). But then you get to this point in the show, and people are getting beat up by intrest rates and geopolitical commentary becomes semi-major plot points. I think the clashing tones really add to what makes this show great

People miss the point of the Trolley Problem, it's meant to illustrate that doing arithmetic with people's lives is a trap. Thinking in those terms only appears to make sense in imaginary situations with perfect information.
