And what do you know, all your bullshit about claiming green mage was confirmed prior to changing the title after getting called out all turned out to be just that - bullshit. The green clover earring was not a subtle class reveal. Take this as a lesson not to grasp at straws and then attempt to clickbait.

By all means, have fun theorizing. Just make it a point to actually title your theory videos as what they are, versus dropping clickbait. You know, that thing you did before you went and edited the title to what it should have been from the start.
And no, I have not seen your new video. Nor do I really have any intentions on looking at it. I came back just to get in a laugh at the fact that you were proven utterly wrong and your initial clickbait was wholly pointless. Needless to say though, I'm flattered that my previous comments left such an impression on you that you'd go out of the way to pin a comment like this in hopes I would come back and see it, though I'm hopeful that they also motivated you to be an actually respectable content creator instead of desperately using clickbait to try to draw in extra viewers.
Aspire to grow your channel through the quality of your theory content, not by parading it around as if it's something it isn't. My issue with clickbait is it's effectively a statement of two things. One, that you don't respect your viewers. Two, that you don't believe your content is good enough to draw in viewers unless it deceives them into thinking it's presenting something that it isn't.
@damir_van_kalaz What I believe you fail to realize seeing as you are judging me based on a single video, is that I am a small CZcamsr that does this for a hobby that has hundreds of videos and none of them are clickbait. And if you'd watch the new video, you'd see it is also not clickbait and also has a self depreciating joke right at the beginning over this video. What I would like to see is you take on the actual big name channels that have real clickbait in every video that make real money and pull in big subs and actually get them to do what I have done for 15 years and be happy with what I have. Maybe then you'd actually win a battle worth fighting for instead of trying to "teach me a lesson". I left the comment for you to see because you were literally the most annoying and tonedeaf person I have seen in my comments in quite some time and I wanted to legitimately know if your predictable ego would bring you back to punch down on what is, in the grand scheme of things, a complete waste of time
And while you're at it, write a letter to the CEO of Lays and encourage them to disclose exactly how much air is in each bag of chips on the labeling. I spend more money on a half-full bag of chips than I earn from CZcams in half a year.

I assumed the TMNT shirt was a hint that the new melee job was going to be sharing gear with the NIN. NIN is the only job in the game that uses Scouting right now so it may just be understood, that's what the new melee job is going to use and the TMNT is just a misdirection that way.
The answer is not always simple and sometimes requires some leaps in logic. The Spiderman shirt infamously was the clue for Samurai. You had to make the leap to the Spiderman movie trilogy, and then know the director was Sam Rami, which sounds like Samurai.

I thought I had missed a reveal trailer, but this is honestly a really good guess regardless! Though… the shirt could be a different hint as well. Either way, the fact we got that earring is basically saying we have Green Mage, which sounds exciting!
It's not saying anything though. It's just a green clover earring. It's highly unlikely that they would throw in random things like this into the MSQ to hint to a new class just for those hints to be completely irrelevant later on down the line once all is revealed and the expansion is out. It's much more likely that this is just a coincidence rather than a hint, especially considering they've never included things into the MSQ to serve as hints for class reveals before.
It's also possible that Krile will be the Green Mage in the next expansion. And the hint in-game is usually someone representing the class early on (Gosetsu, Ran'jit, etc).

That's still assuming this little green clover earring even has anything to do with Green Mage. Yes, characters have appeared with the weapon for a class that was added in the next expansion before, however, this isn't consistent. Gaius used a gunblade as early as 1.0, but we never got gunbreaker until 5.0.
This also isn't a weapon, nor a new character. It is an earring that just so happens to be green, and a clover.
This is bordering on half life 3 prediction meme levels of stretching.

I feel like this is a little extreme haha. Yes could that green earing be teasing green mage, do we know it is 100% no. I think green mage is another good guess for the job but until we get furher details at fanfests and the second half of 6.5 msq no one really knows what the job will be besides the devs
I think Green Mage will have a naturistic feel to them. Using vines, flowers, and other flora as DPS.

Green magicks shows up in ff12. Tho u mentioned ivalice. Iirc, it is support magic. Also, I'm hoping for more unique classes. I miss the stormblood iteration of classes
Ye, Green Mage isn't *in* FF12 as a playable class, but the magics are listed as Green Mage for things like Protect and Shell. It was more of a reference in 12 since it is actually playable in Tactics, but same world though.

I believe green mages also have used crossbows as well but not for certain?

I've been wondering how they might implement Green Mage since the meta seems to be drifting away from DoTs and being a caster dps, the support actions would probably exceed what we normally expect from a non-healer job. I think it could be interesting if they balanced it through damage reflection or something similar, where you do your damage by timing well a protect or shell type spell. But the dots might be problematic, as Arcanist already has two associated jobs and also already owns the traditional poison spell, Bio. I've seen some rumbling around Bard being too support oriented so I hope they can either counter that if not entirely avoid the issue of people hating it if it doesn't have high personal damage output.
It was at least stated it's going to be a DPS caster, so i wouldn't call it a "support"
Bard is considered a "Support DPS" because it has so many party buffs for damage, movement speed, healing potency and defense. Green Mage could be similar since it generally casts Buff and debuff spells.
I know the hint is intended for the viper class which has been officially announced and the duel swords specifically, but I still hope we are getting a new caster too this time round.
Yoshi-P actually confirmed that the shirt he wore was indeed for the Caster and Viper was the unknown one. :)

I did like the DoT concept it just did not fit well with Arcanist and its Jobs, but i loved playing Infliction Warlock in World of Warcraft, Which is all about damage over time and spreading to targets if i remember correctly, so thos would be a Job i would give a try.
Crackpot Theory 1: Green Mage will actually be Blue Mage (separate from MC Blue Mage) due to the Kojin being referred to as "Blue" in the Far Eastern language.
Crackpot Theory 2: We'll get Green Mage, but it'll be a mixture between it and Pictomancer because of the Ninja Turtles all being named after famous painters.

I feel like Green mage will be the limited job since things in the game like Mobs in dungeons or ally raids die too far for a dot class and being just a buff job will be a spit in the face for people wanting a better caster than Blm and summoner
Yoshi-P has said the limited class is a third new class separate from the new melee and Caster. Also, I wouldn't be so married to the idea of Green Mage as it has been shown in the past considering how different Sage is from tradition. I also don't know how casting gets better than BLM, but better than SMN is quite easy since the EW changes.

But guys, in Endwalker, we go back in time to the unsundered world, and you'll never guess what! There's a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game called Turtles in Time! CLEARLY the entire time travel plot was the secret reveal that the magic DPS in Dawntrail was going to be Time Mage, so Green Mage is already deconfirmed!
Seriously, this has the same energy as the videos people make about how the Switch 2 has 100% been confirmed and then you click on it and it's just some dude speculating about what Nintendo might do, or the Smash community where people were always completely convinced they knew exactly what the next fighter was going to be, only to be dead wrong every single time.
Only a few more colors and we can get "gay mage"
Unfortunately there is no orange mage, yellow mage, indigo mage, or violet mage.
I hope it's not green mage, just sounds boring.

In reality, this is probably just a coincidence. They've never thrown in hints to what the new classes will be as part of a random thing in the MSQ before. It's more likely that this green clover earring is just something that will play a major role in the 7.0 questline and has little if anything to do with the classes we'll be getting.
Might be best to change the title to something more befitting what this actually is - a guess. Nothing was revealed other than the fact that there is no straw XIV players won't grasp at in an attempt to convince themselves that they've cracked the code ahead of time.

Here's the problem I have with the premise of Green Mage: It's a support job. In It's original form, it'll simply fall flat against literally EVERY other dps in the game. And if you (you 3rd person not literally you. I feel like I have to add this Addendum bc of how crappy American public schools have become since my day lol) think DoTs are coming back? You're kinda kidding yourself. Which means, you're going to have to forget most, if not everything you know about Green Mage as it's going to have to be utterly remade in order to effectively fit the DPS role. Which means, it may have the Green Mage name, but operate more like a Geomancer, or Offensive based Shaman.
Im not hating on it, before anyone thinks that I am. All I'm saying is, that if it really IS Green Mage, to HIGHLY temper your expectations.
But at the end of the day, until the official reveal, your video is pure speculation. And while speculation can be fun, it's not based in fact. And facts are all that matter when it all boils down😊
Another example of a class being very different from it's original design is Sage. They gave it a very different identity in FF14, I don't see why they couldn't do the same with Green Mage.
@@Zivalene Oh, for sure. All I'm saying is that expectations should be tempered. If you will recall, there was a bit of a figurative "shock to the system" when Red Mage was implemented. There were a number of folks who were like "Wtf is this?! This isn't Red Mage Brrbrr!!" So my comment is more for those folks who are expecting a "%100 faithful recreation" and end up disappointed. Believe it or not, those folks do exist😆
Because even Dancer got the same redesign treatment. And in terms of DPS, it just doesn't keep up with really anything too well. I'm a Reaper main (used to main Summoner). And the two jobs that I can point to that have %100 of the time never out DPSd me (using threat meter as a general guide) is Bard and Dancer. Even when I used to main Summoner, I was never out DPSd by either of those jobs. Mind you, I'm an AVERAGE player....Average. If, as an Average player, a DPS job cannot out DPS someone like me at least ONCE, there is a problem with that job's design as a DPS job. And I fear Green Mage would suffer the same fate.
