Hello! My experience with the M1 Pro has been really good I've really enjoyed editing videos, photos and doing all my work on it. It handles really well. Now, I do believe that the regular M3 chip is very good and offers some serious value. It really comes down to how you use the machine, in what kind of scenarios.
But for your case for music production and content creation I think you should be more than good and satisfied with the performance of the M3 Chip, although I will add that if you get the regular M3 macbook pro, take a second and upgrade to 16gb of RAM. It will def change your experience and the performance of your machine will be far better.

You are just a fanboy, there are many better options especially long term, cheaper, offer better warranty and upgradability.

You do realize Apple is superior in so many small ways? I also run Samsung PC etc but apple will always be the better. Though my PC is only a $2500 build it fails in comparison to the M3 Chips. Definitely a sad comment you have there

You do realise that a desktop highest core either from AMD or Intel is much faster than laptop M3 right?

I have a 10 years old desktop too and it loses to Apple.
Either way you missed what I was trying to say.
Apple abuses their customers by offering one year warranty, unrepairable and many more I am not going to mention here.
If the SSD dies on your laptop it's an expensive brick.
You want apple to repair? They replace the whole motherboard which costs almost like a new laptop.
There are many more examples.
A quick Reddit search will also let you know how reliable they products and their warranty claims are.
I am not saying other companies are angels, but you can get more with your money by not buying apple.
Theres no Windows laptop that is as nice as the M1 Pro thats not a brick with a shit display and keyboard.
