Bengalis and Bengal known as Vanga is one of the 16 janapadas of India ... Bengalis and Bengal are far older than Axom or Axomiyas ... or any other Tribe of the Northeast for the matter... so get your facts straight before commenting
@@vajrabhuti687 haha..lol axomiya≠ ahom. Axomiya consist of ahom, Kacharis, sutiyas, Mishing ,mech Kalita etc. The Bodo-kacharis and indeginious tribes have been living here from centuries. Plus the varman, mlechha,Sutiya, Kachari,pala dynasty before Ahoms. And no pala and varman dynasties of Assam were different from Bengal dynasties.

wait what ? how on earth is paneer included in traditional assamese dish ? You went to the wrong place actually. Go to an Assamese house in a village and then you'll know what assam is. You just went to a regular resturant which serves to feed the immidiate hunger of people. Assamese cuisine is slow cooked. Absolutely disgusting review

Paradise doesn't give you any traditional food.
You have not gone to the correct place to have traditional Assamese thali. Matar paneer is not part of assamese thali.. also assamese people do have "patot diya maas" (banana wrapped steamed fish) which is not inspired by Bengali recipe.
i think paneer is just included for a vegetarian's sake. otherwise paneer is not a part of traditional assamese food.

The puffed rice is not a dessert. We Assamese have it in breakfast. Please do some homework and avoid misrepresentations. You should have visited 'Khorika' instead.
