I made a life-sized "Jotaro Kujo" of "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" with 100-yen(1USD) stone powder clay.
I used 159 packs×200g.(Daiso)
It took about 2 month to made.

I was honestly surprised how much work she did. She chose to sculpt how he'd look under his clothes, and then covered it all up with clothing. That's some incredible craftsmanship
It's so much easier to do clinging clothes with actual muscles underneath. I'd argue it's actually less work to be more accurate to anatomy in the finished product this way. Still a waste to see them go on the back
Dont forget that jojos artstyle also has like the muscles almost poppin out through the clothes like the abs are a good example 🤤, but like zem also said, doing the muscles first also just makes it heaps easier to put clothes on top
@@zemfruit True, but it's still impressive. To study legitemate biology to have an accurate anatomy of a person, and then covering it all with realistic wrinkles of clothes. God I'd be so sad to cover my sculptures with clothes if I'd put so much effort into the muscles lmfao
Thats how you do it lol, even with drawing, you usually draw the body first and then clothes
To be fair, when I make sculptures (at a MUCH smaller scale - 10-15 cm tall), making body shape first and then "clothing" the character is a lot easier than trying to sculpt the entire thing from start. You have to make a lot of guessing as to where the muscles would be, where the arms bend, where the hips end and legs start...

I think most sculptor probably has a good drawing skill as well, as being a sculptor needs a good understanding of 3d form, and having that understanding will definitely makes drawing easier.

With her knowledge of muscles and human anatomy, she literally could’ve sculpted him immediately with the clothes on. Instead she decides to sculpt all the muscles first to make it look more accurate and sexy. I respect this woman and her thirst for jotaro
