- so i've decided to make a walkthrough series of the Wii version of the first Cars game since there are no full walkthroughs of this version of the game in high quallity so here is one the first full chapter of a 100% walkthrough, this is mainly done for information and knowledge of how everything on the Wii Version looks like so if we get Wii stuff into Hi-Octane, that we know how to recreate stuff

When I was little I couldn’t grasp the idea of saving my game so I always just started over every time I played this game lol, but I had so much fun playing this at like 4/5 years old and the frank level was terrifying

Better than the GameCube version? Might pick it up but undecided on which version for my Wii! I don’t mind motion controls either.
Wii version had the accurate textures from the movie
@@tapedex Wii version runs at 60fps, GameCube version runs at 30fps. The difference is noticeable. I say this as I just ran both versions on my Wii and I found myself constantly going to the Wii version for better performance.

When i was playing this as a little kid like 6 years old I had no idea how GREAT this game was.
OMFG when i was little on every sunday morning i played this best time of my life the WII getting tears of joy in my eyes
I loved playing this game. I mostly just drove around though, I loved being able to traverse a large map. I remember I had an ATV racing game on DS and I also just left the race and drove on the mountains beside the track

They had to redevelop it because it came out well after the original game and movie. At least this was a launch title for the wii

This brings back childhood memories and I think the Wii version has the second best graphics and I wish that they fixed the AI for the piston cup racers to drive like in Nascar how the Nascar drivers drive.
the reason why they made the AI like this is to make it harder for the player to pass the cars if they would've made each AI drive the same path it would not only be boring but also easy to pass which is not what the player is supposed to experience while racing
Oh okay but I still don't like how the AI is though.
My imaginary thought about the AI for the piston cup racers is that if they made it like Nascar how normally they don't out perform other cars and if they drive in the same paths it would be just like a challenge where you can't out perform them you can pass though but it would tough to try to go faster than the other piston cup racers and my imaginary thought also is that in the race mode not story mode you can customize how long you want the race to be like how many laps you want for the piston cup race.
what do you mean costumize how long the race lasts? there is no such thing in this game as customizing laps or anything like that, all you can "customize" is how the AI acts if they're supposed to be easy or a bit harder
What I mean is how many laps do you want for an example like usually there's 12 laps for the piston cup race you can imagine if you want more laps like 50 laps or 100 laps something like that just customize how long you want the piston cup race to last it's just my imaginary thought for the piston cup race.

I just watched a video of this game and this guy was using a mod where all 20 racers for the piston cup race try to win the race and they were all driving on the same path and I was like "Yes that's what I wish the piston cup race is like." You gotta watch it it's called "Cars the video game true brutalization." You'll be surprised.
sorry but i don’t really enjoy how they drive the same path nor do i care about how fast they go, i enjoy the way they are in the original game
It's okay I enjoyed how that mod looked.
That was me who did that video of that mod. I eventually removed it, though, and now that I have the game again after 5 years, I haven't reapplied any mod quite like it.
It s incredible as i m actually 14 and i played this some year ago and now i m used to play very very more realistic game. I ll never forgive this

plus! id say the wii version it has the most accurate representation of lighting mcqueen ive ever seen!
McQueens wii model is basically his Xbox 360 model with slight UV and Rigging changes, in terms of shape its identical
So, there is no Open World exploration in the Wii version like there is for the PS2 version?

For less lag, you need to check “Skip EFB Access from CPU”.

My question is when I looked up Lightning's top speed on Google and it said 200 mph in the game why did they make him a little slower than 200 like in the game Lightning's top speed is 180 mph?
Lightnings top speed is reduced by 20 only on road races, on piston cup races however he normally can go up to 200

Yeah.
A bit late but cars usually dont go as fast if the road is dirt because they have less grip. On concrete like a race track they almost glide through them.

The PC version is a port of the original Xbox version with the Wii version's FOV. It was ported by Beenox.

the intro of the Wii version is the same as the Xbox 360 one and you can find it by someone else

@@naufalmaus the Xbox 360 one obviously, again the intro on the Wii is the same as the Xbox 360 one it is the same exact video, so yes the models are also the same
@@code5938 I think that will left some players confuse to see that the intro has different cutscene animations than the one in the game itself

Sadly you can only play with Wii Remote in the Wii version of Cars.
You CAN use the Nunchuk. There's an option in settings. I found out because I got this after mater national and that game uses Nunchuk by default

This is the only version of the game that runs at 60fps (of the console versions), it's a shame that the controls are bad.
Use a nunchuk. I hate using the remote sideways. You just have to go in the settings to enable the ability to use it
