- Hey guys it’s Robyn! Today I’m sharing the 10 New Release Scentsy Bar descriptions for Fall/Winter 2023! NOTE: these bars aren’t available yet! We’re just going through descriptions here!

NOTE: It looks like these descriptions are not yet available on consultant Workstation in R1. They have been shared by Directors and Consultants who attended R2 SFR and have the catalogs and scent descriptions. This season, R2’s catalog new releases are all the same as R1.
Scent names have been confirmed on R1 Workstation but descriptions have not. The scent notes discussed are directly from the catalog, so they’re solid!
That makes sense why I couldn't find them on the WS
It sure seems like they are turning away from bakery which makes me sad. I was definitely hoping for more than one.
100% agree. LTOs will have some good bakery fixes for us, but I agree I’d rather they be right in the catalog for us!
Did you see their Holidays bricks are going to be shaped like a christmas tree! And another licensed flower for the princesses!
Yes, I saw those spoilers from SFR Region 2. I’m hoping we get the same 🤞
Yes!!! The scents sound very exciting to me too - much more appealing than last years lineup of bricks for my nose!

@@Toretto_the_pup Region 2 Scent of the Seasons Collection was shown to be Homestead Holiday, Peppermint Rush, Caramel Praline Cake, Frosted White Pine, and Sugar Plum Berry.
Region 2 Holiday Bricks were shown as Candy Apple, Cozy Kitchen, Holly Jolly Cider, Orange Spice & Everything Nice, and Fluffy Flannel.
We have no idea if we will be getting these in Region 1.

I believe Marigolds are super pungent, at least in real life gardens especially if you crush the plant. Hope it smells better in a wax bar :)

I know…. I wanted more pumpkin 🎃 pumpkin is always at the top of my list with smoky and marshmallow lol!!!
I love vintage Halloween decor and smells - pumpkin, candy corn, caramel apples, bring it on!
Frosted Cedar sounds like Cedar Cider on paper. I wonder if Frosty Air will be a reminder of Vanillamint. It looks like they share some notes if there is mint in the "frosty". I was hoping for a return of St. Nickerdoodle too, but at least that one is clubbed for me. 💜
That’s true, Frosty Air could be a cousin of Vanillamint potentially, with the citrus and floral!
They all sound very interesting and can't wait to try them!! I think I'm leaning to Dashing, Make Me Snickerdoodle and Midnight Mahogany. I just hope Scentsy has some strong bars in these 10. I thought it was odd too that there are no new pumpkin scents.
Yes it’ll be interesting to see what the strength/performance will be like! No way to know that til we get ‘em into our warmers!

Great video idea! Interesting to hear your thoughts based on scent notes. I'm trying not to anticipate how they smell so I'm less likely to be disappointed but definitely curious. I find that scent notes sound much better sometimes than the scent but hopeful for some good ones. Glad they're going back old school & using different scent notes they haven't used as often so they're not the same played out notes. I thought last fall/ winter scents weren't very interesting. I'm really holding out that they've added some collection & LTO's like they did this season. Still wishing at some point they add retired scents to the seasonal catalog. I feel like that would be perfect. Looking forward to your reviews. I don't have any standouts from the list but will get them & hold onto them for a bit before trying them just in case since it is not common to have many boomers. Have a great week.
That’s a good point - sometimes expectations lead to disappointment whereas if you go in with no prior thoughts there are pleasant surprises!
Hi Robyn. Thanks for sharing the new scents that are coming for this Fall & Winter season! I am curious to smell these scents. I think I am going to love Cranberry & Cardamom, Make Me Snickerdoodle, Fall Feelin', Dashing, Frosted Cedar, Midnight Mahogany and Red Currant Wreath! 🥰. Looking forward to seeing the new catalog. I think it’s a great line-up! I’m most excited about Fall Feelin’, Make Me Snicker(doodle) and Red Currant Wreath. So true that we’re not meant to love them all! I think they’ve done a good job here.
Seems like it should be a good lineup for sure! Can’t wait to get my nose in them lol!
Omgosh, you’re so good at this! I saw these yesterday and had no idea how to imagine them. Your vibe idea on Midnight Mahogany was great! Im pretty excited for all of them except Frosty Air because of the Lilly of the Valley. For a second I thought Golden Garland would be fall, but the frosted pine needles throws that theory off. Some cranberry scents give me a bad headache so those may be out, but nonetheless, I think I like this lineup more than the last several years.

I was disappointed to see only 1 bakery bar too - I hope they add several returning LTOs to the bakery section to fill it out.
Glad you were able to get the scent notes. I snooped on the spoiler site but haven’t found them. I think your summary is spot on. I’m a little nervous for Cedar Cider after hearing the red apple/white cedar description. Thankfully I have clubbed it.
Yes. My concern for Cedar Cider has increased too - I thought it would be safe originally!
Our tastes line up usually (I’m bakery first always) so I’m excited about the same ones you are. Will definitely pass on the Palo lol. So excited for some of these! I love St Nickerdoodle too and thankfully clubbed that one, I’ve been saving my bars to warm in the fall winter months. It’s good all year but I’m just hoarding them! I only get 1 quarterly. Can’t wait for the new snickerdoodle one!
St Nickerdoodle might be my fave bar ever. Definitely top 5! I only have 1 per quarter too!
It’s just so yummy! Thank goodness I was smart enough to put two of Maraschino Sugar cookie in there though! Ooh I might try those in alternating warmers.

I am surprised that they only chose to add 1 bakery bar. After the current catalog with no true bakery at all, I was expecting at least 2. That better mean they decided to bring back all of them from the last catalog.
I hope so! I also hope we see a couple bakery additions from LTOs last season (Gimme Candy, maybe Maple Rum Cake or Vanilla Maple Glaze) as well!
@@RobynH they did a lot of bakery in the collections and in scent of the months last fall/winter. I wonder if they stay away from it in the catalog because bakery clubs well? All 3 you mentioned plus maraschino sugar cookie and st nickerdoodle are in mine. The only bakery that I didn’t put in was warm pumpkin drizzle I think.
I had Warm Pumpkin Drizzle then cut it from club. I’m kicking myself! That one is so yummy!!! Hoping it comes back in catalog or clearance.
@@bethferrington3247I clubbed both Maple Rum Cake and Warm Pumpkin Drizzle but I think Maple Rum Cake may get the axe on my next club edit. I have Rum Raisin Cookie which I prefer more but we will see.

Me too!!! I’m sure there will be quite a few lovely bakery scents for us as the season goes on 😉.
I was looking forward to the new scents but nothing seems super exciting to me, will definitely try the snickerdoodle one as have been on a bakery kick lately. I am okay with this as I can focus on regular catalog bars and all the fall and winter collections 😊. I can also focus on melting all the wax I have stock piled away and maybe save a little money 😂
There’s never a shortage of things to try and to melt, that’s for sure! 😊
I was very underwhelmed by the new releases for spring/summer to the point that I am just now placing an order for some of them as full bars. But I prefer fall/winter anyway so that's not super shocking. I'm excited to get my hands on quite a few of these new releases though! I am super excited for the new catalog sneak peeks since my club processes next weekend. I would love to pull some of my insurance bars out of there and save a little cash this month. Thank you for sharing this video. I always appreciate your opinion and thoroughness 😊
Hopefully we’ll know what’s returning before your Club processes! We should!
Probably they’ll incorporate more bakery into SOM and LTOS . I’m excited for all - I can usually smell fall/winter scents pretty well. If they’re all too light I have a healthy club!
Hi Robyn! I get Leary about their scent notes until I smell them (Sugar Blossom) (Frosted Petals, they left out the rose note) lol! I’m excited to smell them! It’s in the sniff and warming. Marigold Petals oil tends to be fruity and citrus, not harsh like the real flower, so I’m expecting the citrus to be supported by that one. I hope they revamped their Palo Santo. People want bakery. DO hope they cater to what people want and not try and push oils they got stuck with. We need a good coffee, cafe series. Red current Wreath, maybe a replacement for Red Berry and Spruce. I am most excited for Make me Snicker. Thank you Robyn for this excellent preview!

I few of these sound interesting. I was hoping to see at least another bakery. I wonder if they plan to do a trio like they did last year with the harvest collection.
The Harvest and Holiday bundles appear to be 5 bars like they used to be! 👀
Thanks for the sharing the new scents and descriptions, Robyn. They sound moody and complex. Nothings screams fall to me though, mostly winter as there is a lot of woody and spicy notes. I love cardamom and cranberry, but cherry is listed first and I don’t have good luck with Scentsy’s cherry. Also, glad to see a bakery and hope it’s well done, but a cinnamon cookie scent is not very novel IMO. 😅 Looking forward to hearing about the harvest and holiday collections and your cold and warm reviews of these new catalogue scents.
Moody is a great word to describe many of these bars! Definitely trendier and moodier than we’ve seen before!
Their palo oil better be different because what they’ve previously used is NOT good. 🙂 There’s a few vendors who have palo that’s so good it’s addicting.

I have to say, I’m not too excited about many of these, unfortunately! I’ve sold Scentsy for 11 years, and I’ve found that the scents do not last as long. Also, I’ve noticed a lot of them becoming very perfumey, which I don’t love. I’ve found myself grabbing BBW candles a lot more, lately! I know, it goes against what Scentsy is (flameless), but I can find the scents I’m looking for, that last longer. When you pay $8 plus tax and shipping, and they only last a day or 2, if you have multiple warmers. It adds up so fast!
I haven’t been on the Scentsy scene nearly as long as you but I’d agree we’re seeing a lot more perfumey based scents recently.
As for BBW candles - I’ve found chopping them up and melting them in our warmers works really really well, if you want to make them flameless!

I will need to stop myself buying all of these and wait for warming reviews and then bundle the ones that sound decent strength, throw and scent worthy as I’m a little fed up with bars that don’t perform . Looking forward to listening to everyone’s warming videos 😊
Can’t wait to get to warming them! Many of these sound like they SHOULD be decent strength based on the notes - lots of woods and spice, so that’s promising performance-wise.

Saw a spoiler of the global scents of the season collection for this year. 2 returning 3 new… 2 of the 3 new ones appeal to me. Also saw bricks… but not sure if those scent notes will be the same for us here in R1. Not impressed with the new scents other than the snickerdoodle one so I’m hoping that the bring back some good LTOs in the catalog like they did this spring/summer
The upcoming LTO scents sound VERY exciting to me (names only - no notes yet). I think they’d have a home run if they gave us like 3 new release catalog bakery bars in one fall - everyone keeps screaming “more bakery!” and for years now we get 1 bakery new release per season.
I have a feeling this palo santo is going to be too strong. I would love scentsy to make a spring palo santo like bbw palo santo and sage. Very excited to try the cranberry cardamom and fall feeling. I will definitely skip florals and pine.
I sure hope they're better than the sping scents. I think most of those suck!
There were a few winners in there for me, but I agree, I’m much more of a fall/winter person myself!
Based on scent notes I am very optimistic. The new scents offered in last 2 or 3 catalogs have not been great in my opinion.
Lol the name “Dashing” didn’t send my mind straight to Christmas, it made me expect a masculine scent because it makes me think of a man like James Bond or something- just the name, not necessarily the scent notes. 😂

I agree with your list except for Graham Cracker Crunch I can't see them retiring that one just yet.
I would hope not but they have shocked us before with retiring bars everyone loves. It's not coming up to get an email if the scent returns. Some of the expected bars most are thinking will not return you don't have an option for an email. Some others are fairytale pumpkin, dancing sugar plums, pomegranate Prosecco, berry blessed, eucalyptus wreath, pumpkin chai, and autumn hearth.

That could very well be - there’s also plum coming up in later LTO, so I really do think Dancing Sugar Plums is toast. Could be wrong but I’m pretty sure it’s gone.

It can be tricky - I believe they’re revamping it right now to make it easier.
As for scent descriptions though, I misspoke, only the names are on Workstation right now. The descriptions are from the catalog, which R2 got at SFR last week.

Looks like just names are on Workstation right now. But R2 has the catalogs from SFR and they’re getting the same new release scents we are, and have widely shared the descriptions on social media.

Me too. I found the scents. Finally under an article posted July 1 about the new season sales kits. But no description.

The descriptions have been shared by those who attended R2 SFR and have the official catalog descriptions, and they’re getting the same new releases we are this catalog season.
