  • Angel Reese's Historic WNBA Performance Prompts Caitlin Clark Roasting
Angel Reese had a career day on Thursday when the Chicago Sky faced the Dallas Wings. Reese finished the 83-72 win with 16 points and an insane 18 rebounds in 29 minutes played. In doing so, Reese recorded her seventh consecutive double-double this season. This set a new WNBA record for the most consecutive double-doubles a rookie has ever recorded. Reese appeared to be more excited about earning her first win in five games than setting this WNBA record during her postgame press conference. But some within Reese's fan base were more eager to roast Caitlin Clark as a result of the historic performance. In replies to X posts about Reese setting the WNBA record, fans began roasting Caitlin Clark. "Caitlin Clark fans about to cry in the car...." one X user said to a graphic of Reese's record. "See? She’s way better than Caitlin Clark," another fan wrote. "There's so much class, something Clark doesn’t have," said another fan under a video of Reese speaking postgame. WNBA fans can't get enough of pitting these two iconic rookies against one another. Luckily all of us will get to see them square off once again on Sunday.
