Sakura is a Sinful delight! One I may need to save up for!
But to help make up for all of the expensive figures, Virus Fighter looks to be a hidden gem.
All 3 of them look super awesome. That black outfit and the 1st movie red dress are my favorite looks for Alice and the sculpt looks pretty cool. The photos were a bit grainy but still looked good.
I love that Sakura pink outfit. It looks like vinyl or bubble gum.
I would love to get a Catwoman from the 90s just for nostalgic yummy yummy emotional purposes. Good times back then. Amazing. Hmm... those Batman Returns movie posters were EVERYWHERE. Thanks for mentioning Mars Toys, I'll take a look at their offering as well.
That Mars one is definitely gonna kick some 🫏. I always loved that Pfieffer Catwoman style the best. I have a couple Mars figures and they are pretty sweet. Their Tommy Lee Jones 2 face is up now. I'm gonna have him in my next video.
DiD's John Dunbar is awesome. Tempted to get 2 for multiple display options. Would love to see more Dances with Wolves, and maybe Glory and Gettysburg figures in the future.
He does look super cool. I hope they continue all those movie time period lines also. I'd like to see some movie western style outlaws & lawmen like maybe characters from the young guns movie.

Fantastic work Dude, copped a few others myself this week, namely the FYJ-STUDIO Warrior Series: General Huang Zhong, MTToys Ada Wong and a couple of Damtoys military figures.

He does look awesome. 303 has some cool versions of him also. Those guys are usually pretty expensive but worth every penny with all that detail they usually have in them with real leather, copper and metal parts. 3030 has them in 1/12 scale too.
@@TheFigureZone Yeah, I've got a few of the 303 pieces but 1/12 is too small for me. I picked up the Coomodel King of Elves and that thing is sensational!

Now, I am thinking of Alice, but again I'll think about it because man they look so good in previous but total ass when released (usually a third party thing, they haven't earned my trust unfortunately)
Thanks ! It's much appreciated. 🙏. That Alice does look cool but yeah it's the 3rd party gamble. I've gotten a bunch of mediocre figures over the years and had to cancel about 60 total and some of them figures turned out to be 🌽 💩. 🤣.
@@TheFigureZone Worst part is their photos get us super excited and hyped up. The Baroness was SO good in the photos but came out looking completely different in SO many ways (especially the headsculpt). Why do they do that? They could just make more money replicating what they show, build trust, and sell more preorders for their upcoming releases. Well, having written my own question, my brain answered already: It's to make a quick buck with the least amount of effort and time spent. I think a lot of these companies then just change their names and continue selling junk.

I probably lost like $400 in NRD's which totally sucks. I heard that Baroness was crap. I still have my Sideshow one and she still looks pretty awesome. Flag Set is known to do that. I have a review on one figure and they totally changed the head and she looks like 💩 because of that and I really bought the figure because of the amazing head sculpt in their promo photos. Bunch of 🍆's.

And actually the more I look at the figure, that's Kevin Costner isn't it? I have not seen DANCES WITH WOLVES in a very long time but I'm pretty sure that's him.
I just found out myself after making the video that it was Kevin Costner. 🤣
They totally captured the look and the clothing from the period also from the photos I checked out. I like Costner. He doesn't care what people think of his opinions.
Yan Toys is making Sadako from the Ring. Really cool figure but a little pricier than I expected. I’m sure it’s bc of all the accessories
She is looking pretty cool. I totally forgot to put her in my last video. So many figures are coming out that I'm trying to pit the figures from the older preorders in but I run out of room quick.
I've noticed that lots of 3rd party figures are hitting official figure prices. It's like what happened to the transformers masterpiece 3rd party companies. Many of those figures can be more expensive than the official ones.
@@TheFigureZone yeah Yan’s other releases were in the 170 range so I’m sure it’s just the extra accessories
Let's hope 🤞. The 1st best thing about 3rd party figures is getting a figure that the big companies probably won't make and the 2nd is the price.
Just a question about Hot Toys and figures that use real material, Whats the shelf life like on those type of figures? Do they eventually disintergrate after a few years?
That's a tricky one. I opened many figures on a day one release and have had to glue parts back on. Magnets fall off, pieces come loose on clothing and I always have gorilla gel glue and some toothpicks around to apply it with. That stuff works great. It unfortunately happens like 1 out of 20 figures.
With the clothing the real leather will last longer if the figure is kept in a room with low humidity. I've only had 1 figure with pleather issues even in perfect humidity it just started flaking.
There's other issues like the material they use on the Spider-Man outfits. People will pose him all crazy awesome and some times the material doesn't go back to normal and end up all wrinkly.
It's unfortunately part of the hobby. I keep my figures lightly posed so they can last way longer.
@@TheFigureZone Oh thank you so much for the reply. Very informative and is my biggest fear of ever getting a Spiderman Hot Toy. That said, two of my McFalane toys both have feet thats joints are skew. Only issue with buying online I guess :P
No problem at all. I'm always trying to help out fellow collectors whenever I can. Definitely get some Spidey figures. I have about 10 or more. As long as you don't have them in crazy poses you should be ok. Sometimes the waist clamps can stick to their suits so I have a stack of cheap plain black stands I use for figures like that.
If you have stuck joints a hairdryer or dip them in microwaved water for like 10 seconds and for loose joints there's some liquid from a company named Kiki and it's called Fix loose joints action figures. People rave about it and every time I remember to buy one it's sold out. 🤣
That Master figure is... confusing to me. It looks almost identical to the Sideshow version from way back in 2004 (which I own). There are more accessories with this version, but it doesn't look like they did not much to update the sculpt itself. Perplexing. But in that same breath, I want more Buffy 1/6 figures so hopefully this is good news about the future from HM Toys!
This is also an odd choice, because this figure was a shelf-warmer for so long. There was a time it dropped to $40 on the aftermarket, but even today you can still get it for $70 sealed.
I'm with you on that. The outfit and head sculpt look super dated. Hopefully it's a prototype and the final product will look more modernized. 🤞That would be sweet if they continued the line. We definitely need more modern updated versions of the characters. 😎
@@TheFigureZone Agreed! I have 17 of the original Sideshow Buffy figures and I love them all to death BUT yikes some of those face sculpts have not aged well, haha.
I miss those days when you could scoop up sideshow figures for $40-$60.
They are recognizable but just don't hold up in a display with modern figures. I almost got James Marsters to sign a figure for me at a Philly contests ago but he left early. 😥

@@TheFigureZone I used to watch it married with children (waaay) to young back in the day. Al bundy knows quality. I dont speed thru but im more regular action figures than fancy stuff personally. Still like lookin, still enjoy the channel
Thanks for checking out the videos just for the fun. I put an Al approved figure in my 1/6 & 1/12 videos just for fun. I was a big fan of the show back in the day. I loved that Anthrax made a guest appearance.
I really want that Catwoman. I wish someone would make a 1/12 or Mcfarlane size. She is my favorite catwoman by far
That would be super awesome. A bunch of companies are starting to shrink down their 1/6 figures to 1/12 scale. Let's hope her, Penguin & Batman are on the list. For now we have the 89 Mezco Batman. Mines still sealed in the box. 🤣
That's good. You wont be disappointed by opening it. I've heard alot of bad about him. I'd love to see her done by Mezco and the Penguin too
I heard he has some issues also. I guess the suit is made of silicone or something and it's got powder all over it to keep it from drying out and cracking. I printed out an entire sheet of paper when I got him explaining how to handle and keep the figure from getting damaged.
It reminds me of the 1st Hot Toys 89 Batman. Some people had him leaking an oil from the suit and it melted part of the outfit. Luckily mine is all good and in a museum pose for years.
Plus the cape takes a rocket scientist from nasa to put on correctly from what I've heard because it goes between the shoulders and the cowl piece
Oof. I'm definitely keeping mine in the box. I don't have a spot for him which is kinda a good thing. 🤣. I still have my 1/6 89 Batman & 78 Superman on display and I'll leave my Mezco 78 Superman in the packaging just in case. Though I'm curious to see the kryptonian control area's light up feature.

Yeah she's like a generic Catwoman. Another company made her a while back and was much better but sold out pretty quick. I can't remember the name though offhand.

🤣. They are gonna keep making them until the real zombie apocalypse hits. 😝. I think we are at around 20 Alice figures and 75 Ada Wong figures. And that's just this year. 🤣🤣. I'd love to see more infected zombie humans. I totally love that Asmus Bitten series. 😎
