Keep in mind that microtrax was developed back in 2017 based on an evolution of microbite from the haywire/etc, and that the average volume of oil on tour has gone up 10-20% depending on the pattern. The cover will have been updated to account for this, and all the og idols out there now are either minimum 4 years old with games or if they’re blank they’re now 75-77D instead of the intended 73 so this will hook more regardless lol
If this ball is going to be a success then it should be the same cover as the OG. Simo uses the pink ball for a reason, and not the orange one. @@arandomcommenter7051 And for myself, our house was bought by a Bowlero. And I'm not sure if its true or not, but I heard a rumor that Bowlero sent out a letter to all their centers to use the same pattern starting this month, and it has less oil volume, including no oil in the first 2 feet. So if all the centers in the country end up with the same lower volume pattern then I'm afraid this new ball could end up being a paper weight like the orange ball. The OG cover is very good and versatile. The Helios was not, even with 3000 on it, it burns up by the end of shadow, at least with the OG, I could put 3000 on it with a bit of shine and stay in it all 3 games.
