- Bike ride around Hannam-dong and the Han River in Seoul, using Zhiyun-Tech's brand new Z1-Rider 2 stabilizer!

I've been using Zhiyun-Tech's Z1-Pround 3 axis gimbal stabilizer in my SEOUL WALK videos, as well as for general vlogging. The stabilizer is amazing and has allowed me to create some higher quality video footage of Korea to share with the world!
Zhiyun-Tech took notice of my use of their product in my videos, and decided to sponsor me! They sent me their latest product, the Z1-Rider 2! I got it before they started selling it to the public, which was very nice of them! I'm very happy with the product! This is my first video using the product.
The Z1-Rider 2 is a step up from its predecessor, the Z1-Rider. All the wires are now tucked away, and there have been some slight design modifications.
This is test footage using the Z1-Rider 2 for the first time, with my GoPro HERO3 Black Edition, mounted to GoPro's Chesty Mount.
I filmed as usual, at 1080p @ 60fps. I never use post-edit stabilization on my footage.
I do apologize for the rattling noise in my video. It's my chain lock for my bike, it's wrapped around my seat post and the lock part kept rattling against the bike frame.
The rattling does help you to realize that it's a bumpy ride, but the stabilizer was able to keep the footage steady for the most part, so much that I didn't feel the need to post-edit stabilize. I wanted to show you the raw footage, and what the Z1-Rider 2 is capable of!
Thank you for watching, we really appreciate the support!

I like when you ring your bell at people, i thought the guy on the overpass wasnt going to turn around in time and get hit lol
This is awesome. I LOLed at the guy you almost hit in the beginning. :P
Maybe inspiration for you two to make a bike riding video also :)
I felt nervous because of the speed Haha, but thank you wonderful video
+Cory May Take care 😊
+Cory May I hope that there will be many similar videos,
i really miss hangang river,I love hanggang so much, miss seoul too.thank your video
Thanks for watching! ^^
That is some truly awesome stable footage Cory. Its probably the most stable I've seen on a bike. It helps that Korean streets are really awesome to look at too. I think you could make some more money with your videos we should talk on facebook.
that was fun. I felt like I was flying through korea. And you can cover more ground...I liked it
This might be the highest quality video I have watched on youtube!!!!! It's amazing!
+Cory May i think the stability? And that besides the fast moving the clarity and focus isn't lost! Also very good lighting ! I am not tech-knowledgeable , just observing!
agh! maybe the laws are different in Korea but all the sidewalk-riding made me anxious.
This is one I really enjoyed. Almost like a video game. Too bad GoPro doesn't make a 3D camera for a totally immersive experience.
I love your around the city videos! Please do it more often when you can :) definitely felt as though I was riding the bike myself in those narrow streets lol. I did however cringed a few times because it seemed as though you were going to crash into someone/something vice versa lol. Anyways, Han River is so nice, definitely will visit it when I'm in the country.
I loved this SO much!! One of my fav videos of yours so far. So much fun to watch. It looked like such a beautiful day!
Man, if I am gonna keep following you on these rides, I need to get those breaks fixed. Lol
Thanks honey. Let's live long and... no I can't make star wars references without feeling like a geek wannabe. I haven't earned my stripes yet. ;)
***** *smh* you have much to teach her ;) hehehe
***** haha I have made that joke before but this time sadly wasn't a joke. I really typed the wrong thing. Lol
Marie Frenette If you have a good pair of brake pads you can just angle the pads out. Usually squealers are if the pads are angled too far in the front so you end up with the high squeal sound before you brake.
readyset yeah thanks for the good advice. I had no idea how bad it was
great video
I have never ridden a bike, but this looks so cool!
VegasMUA Maybe I will finally teach you next we go to Seoul? Maybe Marie Frenette will help me ... ***** bike needs new brakes first :)
***** Sounds good ... you both have a few months to tune up your bikes. Maybe I will just get her a sidecar.
Such a beautiful city
Great stuff thank you I really enjoyed my visit to Korea and was hopping to go again soon but with this virus I will have to wait till September or October to visit again, I have been on my indoor cycle and watching this as a go , feels like I am back there again thank you 🙏🏻
Probably the most missed part about Korea is riding down the entire Han River. Also miss going up Namsan tower.
Thank you me too you were going so fast but you are very skillfull
Streets are really narrow and crowded but there's no chaos, I like it!
I never thought that having a stabilizer would make such a difference, but this is awesome.
Nice
The city looks very nice!
I love korea. korea will be unified one day , very soon. very beautiful country.
***** Let's all pray that day will soon arrive and all Koreans will be liberated from tyranny to become free.
Great video! I feel like I am riding the bike too xD Han River is very pretty, everything looks nice. ^^
Marie Frenette
Marie Frenette
Hi I'm Ryan Konecki. My grandma Carol Is your dad's sister in Crystal lake. I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. We are enjoying your videos. Good luck with your videos.
OK my dad is Ed
My dad said your father is my dad's uncle
The streets of Korea are so narrow 😨 I’d be so scared to drive let alone walk & ride a bike lol
Oh don't worry, Korea is safe and the roads are really big. It might look small in the video, but you can easily fit trucks and stuff down those roads.
If you want to see small roads and alleys, watch my videos about walking around in Vietnam!
Feed The Cory I’ll definitely take a look 😊
I loved bike riding in the city... it was so fun in Korea. Riding a bike in the U.S.? Almost never.
I really liked this video , it was interesting. You should do more bike rides 😁
Man, I'm scared to even walk in those narrow roads in Seoul much less biking in them with all those reckless motorbikes and cars... I don't think I'll ever have the courage for it, I'll probably forever stick to biking at the parks like the one on Hangang shown here lol. Anyways, Hangang riverfront is beautiful as usual and it was definitely interesting to see more of the streets of Hannam-Dong! Thanks as always.
Amazing as always !! good work ! you always make me feel closer to Korea then I can actually be :) thanks a lot fro that *****
***** that's really amazing !! your goal was achieved and I hope you keep doing it for all those who can't do it themselves !! thank you so much ! Good luck
It's like watching grand theft auto.. I used to ride the Han River trail on my bike back in 2001. It was a great ride.
This was awesome. More please!
it looks so cool! 👋
i really enjoy your bike rides.
Beautiful , thank you!!!
I had the good fortune to be there in May 2013, beautiful place for biking
this is so cool! i want to visit the motherland some day. whats with all those tents in that park towards the end though? music festival?
***** thanks for the info! I'm a new subscriber, but I really like your videos man and am looking forward to more!
I went for a bike ride near hannam-dong once, it was great
***** Haebangchon is a great place in Yongsan! I went past there once
This is really amazing 👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it! ^^
Feed The Cory Yeah enjoyed every second as if it is me who is riding the bike .. thank you
By the way I'd like to see what the stabilizer setup looks like in a future video. Is it chest mounted?
Ride safe
And now that I've watched it some more, I realized it's like playing a first person video game. I feel like I should have a controller in my hand. XD
This is awesome video.
Is it legal to not wear a bike helmet or you don't have to wear them in specific areas?
why i am so nervous watching this?
What camera are you using?
Great video. Love the stable image. Is it possible to mount the Z1 Rider on the handlebars and still get the same stable image? Just curious.
***** Do you have photos of the GoPro attached to your chest? Just curious. I bike race and wanted to see if the Z1 would be feasible for a bike race. Also, on your Seoul Walk videos, are you using a shotgun mic? What camera are you using? I love your walk video. Takes me back to Seoul, every time I watch. You got me thinking of doing the same but in New York City.
I'd be way to scared to do this. The roads look so narrow and it looks so easy to get hit..yet cars still go so fast..
I'm having a hard time remembering the area along the Han that I rented a bike and went riding for a few hours.
Corey teacher good at riding bicycles, ladies.
wow!! nice place..
Hello , i ill visit séoul soon maybe i want to buy a bike there , how much cost good bike and from where i can buy it thankssss :)
thanksss
What bridge did he cross at the han river? :)
what camera do you use?
14:45 LOL for a second I thought you were going to run him down the middle! I wonder what he'd say?! It's mean and it'd hurt like fuck, but still curious to see his reaction.
Seoul looks more dangerous to ride than NYC, and I've ridden through Time Square at night. Some of those narrower side streets could be trails trails, can not believe people are able to park cars in those streets. Osaka Japan just banned sidewalk riding this year because of a bicycle on pedestrian death from last year lawsuit against the city.
readyset I've ridden in both cities and I'd agree that Seoul is more dangerous than riding in NYC. Perhaps due to NYC being laid out in a grid with oneway streets. Drivers in NYC generally don't run red lights.
▶This is the longest username you will ever see in the history of youtube since february 14th, 2005◀
Is it hot in Korea during summer ?
That's bad to hear that. I want to go to Korea and I hate high temperatures. Anwyay, thanks for replying. :D
Mikołaj Bzdoń Best time to visit Korea is the fall, between late September and late October. The weather is not hot and not cold. Spring is good too, but bad Yellow Dust pollution storm from China ruins a good portion of that time. The winter in South Korea is not too cold for those who come from countries that have snow, but cold for those who come from countries that don't have snow.
ok
If I watch from Facebook, it plays smooth, but through CZcams, it keep break up.
looks just like taiwanese non-cycle-paths, it needs more cycle paths in Taiwan or korea, I though seoul has cyclepath every road, lol
Please be careful. Too many rude people in Korea. You must obey the law while you ride a bike. You get find if not lucky.
