As a suggestion for Genesis Heat-Set Paint, just use Colored Liquid Polymer Clay, like KatoPolyclay or Sculpey. Both are thermoplastic (plastisol) like Genesis.

Good to know! I'm already thinking about my next doll so I'll keep it in mind. I absolutely LOVE the Wendigo baby you made for me. I know there's an elephant reborn kit that I think would be perfect for a baby woolly mammoth 🦣

Thank you for this information. What is the best product to seal when working with the air dry paint?
My favorite air dry sealer is Fold Art Soft Touch Topcoat. I use a ratio of 2 Tablespoons varnish 1/4 teaspoon cornstarch and 40 drops of distilled water. Paint on with a brush and pounce off. Let dry for 48 hours. I also know some people who use DuraClear Ultra Matte straight out of the bottle pounced on with a sponge.

My question would be ?? If your not using Genisis heat set paint using oil based paint how would you help turn a kit back to a nutral color so I can get rid of the orange or can I use acrylic to help the kit turn back in just lost haven’t done this since 2015. I am having a hard time ?? I’m a artist just starting back out ?? I need some help nobody will answer me I am using oil based paint I started using acrylic paint ….
You would have to strip the kit first with rubbing alcohol. To neutralize orange, use green. A color wheel will help you neutralize. My favorite shade of green is Earth Mint from Bountiful Baby and I also like Authentic Reborn Green Neutralizer.

No idea. If I did, I'd make a fortune! I'm sure that is proprietary information, just like food recipes.
Did you have an idea wich paint use now that genesis is no longer avaliable?
With Genesis, a little goes a long way. I stocked up right around the time they announced they were discontinuing the line, so I have enough to last me quite a while. After that, I haven't decided. Whatever I choose, it will have to be compatible with Genesis.
