Congratulations on your relocation to the Philippines!
I’m a 57 year-old US Navy veteran. I was brought to tears and happiness for Boris and his mother and yourself getting out of Russia. What an incredible story. I hope all the best for you in the Philippines, and I hope Boris and his mother get a chance to travel the world. For now see and do and enjoy everything about the new found freedom that they have endured.
tell Boris that he will get used to the heat just give it a chance along with his mother they haven’t made in the Shade!!!
Someday, when I come to the Philippines, I would love to meet you guys!!!
I’m going to retire from my job in a little over two years. I’m planning on coming to the Philippines for several months, including a trip to Thailand, and may be Vietnam. I’m still shedding tears of happiness for you and your family getting away from Russia I’m a new subscriber to your channel. Looking forward to checking out more of your videos. Keep up the good work very well edited 👍

She emulates the best qualities of a Filipina: articulate, intelligent, supportive, beautiful, family oriented, quiet and simple yet a force to reckon with; and most of all loving. Her husband is very lucky.
Your husband Boris is very lucky Darlene, you are an true picture of a Filipina. Family oriented, loving and devoted to your husband. May you be blessed and successful in your marriage and life in the Philippines.
❤❤❤yes she does, her skill of narrating her travels and experiences are great, she does put emotion into words and it makes it authentic and totally her own style, it makes it so endearing. Well done Darlene, I am so proud of you Darlene❤❤❤
I don t know what your education and work history is but you should do these stories or documentaries for a living...Such a fantastic presentation.
👍👍
True!
I know right😂
Same observation here. Filipinos normally speak and write English effortlessly 😊
So True.
The way how you narrate your experience living in Moscow to go back home to the Philippines with your mother-in-law and husband are extremely moving and touching. I can almost feel the sadness of your husband and mother-in-law living in their motherland to go to an unknown foreign county, Phil.. Once they experience living in the Philippines I am sure they will love our country. Wishing you and your family more happiness to come. Mabuhay!🙏
For those citizens of other countries who love to live in peace and freedom, welcome to the Philippines.
I call it paradise, my home and native land.
I cannot imagine how hard it is to them!Darlene take good care of them both! They trusted you with their lives!! Welcome to philippines!
Filipinos be kind to them
My wish exactly. Take good care of them and you. 💕
Thank. God. They. Reach. The. Phillip Hines. Safely. Take err. Good. Care. Of. Them. War. Is. Not. A. Nice. Thing. Its. Better. To. Be. Free. Than. Have. Money. And. Be. In bondage. May. The. Good lord. Protect. You. All.
That was a good story, love it......
Sad story , Darlene she' will take care of them both....
What a special journey. Watching all the way from South Africa. I'm in the service and have been on a few front lines and very familiar with the ordeal of the plight of Russian families to embark a new life of freedom. I am so happy to see safe and peaceful journey for your family to the Philippines. I'm sure anywhere outside Russia is grand. I was in tears watching this video and felt proud for you all when you touched down Manila. I feel the love you have for each other.... 22:34 husband to wife "be careful baby." What a lovely family. I wish you all the very best. I as well am looking forward to retiring in the Philippines. I was born there but grew up in the US. There is no place like home. Congratulations on your new land/home. I'm so glad you were able to capture your journey. God bless you all....
Your vlog is the VERY FIRST I subscribed. Your plight back home to the Philippines touched my heart.
Please DO NOT IGNORE YOUR MOTHER-IN-LAW. She looked sad, her smiles were forced. INCLUDE HER IN YOUR VLOGS. Hug her. Love her. Depression sets in if she feels unloved in a strange place and people. GODSPEED. GODSPEED. GODSPEED. GODSPEED. GODSPEED.
True...
I totally agree.
You are a true observant . I’ve noticed it too. Being in a foreign country considering her age must be a little worrisome for her. I’m hoping that she’ll be ok. Filipinos are friendly and respectful by nature.
I notice it too..
Keep spreading Love starting towards your mom- in -law. Everything will be okay soon as you reach your destination!
What a long and tiring journey. I'm glad that you all made it to the Philippines alright. I keep thinking about Boris's mom. She's a very strong lady. I can imagine this must have been very difficult for her. Leaving her country and everything she knows to start another life far away in another country with a different language. But a mother's love is stronger than anything. She probably thought that if she didn't go she wouldn't be able to see her son again. She knows that her home is with her son and now you also. I wish the three of you the very best.
Thank you so much for the very nice comment. Mom loves it here in Philippines, the weather is nice for her and she loves the beach😊.

For mom, if she will get tired you always can buy a small apartment in the Far East of Russia for a temporary vacation in Russia instead of flying back to Krasnodar. And you both and your mom can visit Russia with much ease.
Thru thick and thin miss Bumacod please love and be with your husband and your mother in law. Show to them that Filipinos are passionate and family oriented . Hwag mong tularan yong IBA na iniwan ang MGA partners nila kapag wala Ng Pera May God bless you all.
If won't be difficult to communicate with people in the Philippines. English is a second language even in the public schools, it is being taught..i believe they can communicate in English.. and a lot of people here are westernize. Welcome to the Philippines!!
Wow, just discovered your channel and I'm so loving it. Watched already some of your videos and it's so smartly and heartfelt done. One can feel your sincerity and authenticity. What a beautiful love story that you have, Darlene and Boris. Wishing you both the best in your journey as a couple, and as you start you new life and adventures in the Philippines together with Boris' mom and Darlene's family. With my prayers and support. God bless you both and your families.
So happy for your husband and mother-in-law to get out of Russia. I hope their lives in the future will be a very happy and peaceful one in the Philippines!👍🌴🦋
Wow! You're a good writer and narrator...you can even write a book with your talent...just amazing!
Good luck to all of you.
I m European and I've been married to Filipina for 9 years now.
Me and the family just came back to Uk from Philippines 2 days ago.
My wife also is from Pangasinan / Tayug and we pass near your place on our way to Bolinao where we went on Holiday.
It was my first visit in Philippines and I was amazed how friendly the people are and always smiling.
We landed in Clark airport as it was closer to our place.
Hope to see you soon again Philippines.
I like the way you tell your story. It is so lyrical.
Thank you very much. We’re glad you liked it❤️
Just found your channel! I love the way you vlog, there’s like a documentary feel to it that I love. I clapped when you arrived NAIA, clapped my hands for Boria and your mother in law. It sure feels like freedom for them! Take them to Baguio, so they can see there’s also a cold place in our country. Keep vlogging! Soon your channel will grow in leaps and bounds 😊
Welcome 2 d land of free. Welcome
Agree and I will support them too by subscribing
I wouldn’t call Baguio “cold”... but it’s definitely less hot than the rest of the Philippines.
Am willing to support your vlog. Narrating your humbling experience in Russia I appreciate you.
Wekam
Listening to your narration makes me want to cry! Hope you will have a good and wonderful beginning in the Philippines!
Thank you very much❤️
Beautiful story. You narrate it so well and I am touched and moved. The other commenter is right. You should try to upload more often with shorter videos to gain more views and subscribers. I really admire all three of you and can hardly wait for your next vlogs. ❤️
Thank you very much, we are trying to upload more often now that we are settled here in Philippines. My husband is a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to editing that’s why it’s taking so long to upload even short videos. We have more interesting videos coming😊.
@@islandlifebd Hi Darlene and Boris - you dont need to be perfect if it is a personal vlog. Thats why it is best to present a live vlog talking with each other for anything (not a documentary or history-like presentation. with your style presented you took more hours because of the titling or captioning. If talking live - theres no need to caption which will take a shorter time to edit videos). I hope you will follow my suggestion in reply to another comment just few minutes ago. You should post very often in a shorter video. Also please follow the video format presentation on the vlog of INDAY GARNET of Netherlands. I started following her with 300 subscribers and now she has about 420,000 subscribers. The technique when talking of a thing or matter which you dont know is like this (if video is live not documentary): "ok guys since I dont really now the name of this fish or I dont know how to cook this, or which way is the best, I will suggest you (viewers) to put down your comments below. In this way, you are interacting viewers, so the more you will earn views and comments, which CZcams is advising so more ADS is given or preferred to be rolled in your video. Hope this helps
We support your channel just to show them we pilipino is so kind and humble
Dang! That mother-in-law is a rare gem. She's got a spirit of adventure in her.
Impressed by your English and presentation so I've subscribed.
Your mother in-law seems so calm and even "smiley" despite the emotional upheaval she must be going through. What a strong woman.
Hopefully she won't feel isolated or neglected among strangers in a foreign country.
And I think she deserves the greatest respect, kindness, love and appreciation for bearing a good son, who is by God's Will now your beloved husband😊!
May God bless all your endeavours.
Beats getting drafted to Putin's army and being sent to Ukraine. It is a smart move. No dealing with snow, cost of living here in the Philippines is way better than in Russia, slow pace of life, friendly people, etc. I also move here in the Philippines after living 40 years in America. Welcome to Philippines ❤️
You can help your husband find job.
If he is a reservist then there is a chance. he will be mobilized. currently there is no mobilization. The wife is a Filipina and she is uncertain with life in Russia. A bad move as PH is far from a better place.
@@nicheplusarchitecture8632 hi Putin. He will not be your cannon fodder.
@@fcf777 well you are a misinformed Filipino on the conflict. get some education

Full support in your journey Filipinos love vloggers and you guys will never be left behind
Fact of life,it is so hurting to leave your own country. But we left with no other choice 🥺 mabuhay kabayan you are better be safe in your own country with your loved ones.🙌🇵🇭
Im an American with Filipino parents also both dual citizens, this story of yours is incredible, and I can really relate of the storyteloling and the choice to pick Philippines as destination of choice to leave a war-torn Russia, I know a lot of friends from Russia in the US Army, I'm a veteran of the US Army and I do hope aLL OF YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS BACK IN rUSSIA would do the same thing,as we support a peace loving nation and no more wars/conflicts,and wish all of us would leave hate and negativities in their place and continue to move on ,nice story, keep telling the journey and goodluck.
So amazing, many people are moving back our home country🇵🇭🇵🇭
Welcome back to the Philippines & welcome also for Mama & Boris to the land of the Free. What a story & hardships you made, but you have done it so well. The story telling was so lively & amazing. Philippines was also the recipient of more than 6,500 white Russian refugees who were taken cared of by the Philippine Government. They stayed for a long time in Samar. (The Tubabao Odyssey). Congratulations & good luck & God Bless. Thanks from Manila.
Wow....taga Pangasinan ka pala kababayan, good decision te, mas masaya dito sa Pilipinas may freedom kayo at masaya kahit mahirap ang buhay. Importante kasama mo asawa at biyenan mo. Welcome back kababayan! 🇵🇭🧡🤗
Yes po. Thank you very much❤️
I agree! ❤
I loved Philippines so much, I would gladly leave the U.S. behind. I hope your husband and mother will soon love it.🎉🇵🇭
I am happy for you bringing your Russian family to Philippines. Hoping they will adapt well to their new life in Philippines. I don't know but I wanted to cry seeing your mom in law, I am touched by you and your husband's love for her. It's difficult to be uprooted from your beloved country, hoping they will find new family in our countrymen. Wishing you all the best!
Thank you very much❤️.

Yes i agree what a long and tiring journey you have. What a nice/touching story specially to your husbamd and mother in law. Its not easy to make a decision/s specially when leaving your own country, and start a new life in other country. All the Good and bad memories you have/relatives and friends you will left behind is very sad,and maybe your husbamd felt that. Your husband and mother in law is i think they are good people, and your mother in law is a lovely person. Enjoy your new life in the PH and i do hope that your Channel will grow more and more..😊😊
Thank you very much❤️
This must be so hard and sad situation for your husband and mother in law 😢leaving the place they both lived and loved the most. I feel the sadness 🥲, I pray that one day they can call Philippines their home 🙏 sending love to everyone , from 🇨🇦

Just watched your vlog. I pray that your mother in law and your husband will love our place, the Philippines. Keep them both safe, protected, happy and contented. They can now have a good sleep. 🙏🙏🙏
Can I just praise you for how eloquent you are with your narration? You are speaking intelligently. The way you stitch your thoughts together. Keep it up. This kind of vlogs are really fascinating to watch. Plus the content of your vlog is very touching. I wish you, Boria and his mother best of luck on your new journey together in PH. A new fan here from West Jordan, UT (USA) I've watched about 2:47 mins into your video and already in tears. Your journey has to be quite an adjustment. So touching that your mom n law still able to smile and you are blessed to have your husband and her to go through this next chapter of your lives. Your strengths is very much admirable. Us Filipinos we all have that in common when it comes to survival. I'll Pray for you and your family ♥

Now I totally understand why go guys left Russia. That’s sad they did not support his good intentions and ideas. He’s a good carver and loved to preserve history. All he wanted was to preserve the history that can benefit the kids. Hopefully you guys can meet the Russian family in Cebu. Also I think there is a Russian community in the Philippines.
There are few Russian vloggers here in our country who became popular like the "Baylosis Squad" and few others.
By far, your story via vlogging is my favorite. All the best to your new life in the Philippines!
Thank you very much 🥰❤️
Beautiful young couple and beautiful you my kababayan, I am glad you took your Mom with you. Show our to them our Filipino Culture be proud and we are proud of you young lady.
Thank you for sharing your life with your husband and coming back to Phil
I was teary when you guys landed in Manila Airport. Thank God you all landed safely and reached your province safely. Your husband and his mum seems good people. I hope you look after them and make them feel welcome. Language barrier will always be the hindrance of getting to know each other. It’s good that you brought your mother in law along so your husband will not feel isolated. When I came to Sydney Australia 40 years ago I had the culture shock. I didn’t have any family nor relatives. I only have my cousin’s sister in law. She introduced me to a lot of Filipinos and they became my family. Without them I would have gone back to Manila. Sydney was a very quiet place, I can’t even see 1 person walking on the street. Australia’s population back in 1983 was 15.5 million and Australia is a very vast country. 40 years later it’s still only 26 million. Australian immigration is very strict they scrutinise every migrant that come in to the country. Unless you’re a skilled worker, registered nurse, doctors, engineers, lawyers etc. the only time the unskilled person is accepted is if you’re a spouse. You probably felt the same when you migrated to Russia so perhaps you can understand what they’re experiencing right now. I really hope that Pangasinan will be your husband’s future home. May God guide you all 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️
Welcome to the Philippines! We, Filipinos hope that you enjoy your staycation here! There's a lot of beautiful places that you can visit around the Philippines, and the thing is every region here has their own unique and delicious delicacies that will soothe your hunger in instant, try some!🤩🌟
Good luck dear alam ko ang sitwasyon nyo Dahil nanonood ako Ng news nakatira ako sa Sweden ,everything gonna be ok.God Bless your family.welcome to the philippines
You have good command of the English language. You have a wide vocabulary, sometimes even poetic, while still retaining the Filipino accent. It must be a humbling experience for your husband and mother-in-law leaving everything behind in their country. I hope your situation gets better.
You two seem kind and humble people. Love will conquer all, best wishes to you guys.
I don’t know why I’m so emotional watching this ! I wish you all well. Good-luck on this big move.
Thanks for bringing Boris mother , please take care of her, she is a very nice sweet lady just like his son.
Its just like your narrating your life story very clear and good english
Filipinos are the best
Thank you very much❤️🥰
great storytelling and I can relate to this story of Russian family moving out of Russia as war with Ukraine prolonged and extended,I could feel the pressures from within their minds into moving out of their country to a land that they were never been before, and I'm glad to know that there's still a countrty so beautiful and pristine and accepts us whatever our country of origins and colors, with beautiful peace loving people in Philippines, pls share more of this journey. Thanks
great story and we hope everything goes well for you and your family, specially mum because it will be a BIG change for her.
I cannot imagine the emotions you guys must have felt. Moving from one culture to another…this is a major life change and I will pray that you succeed. When we moved our family from Virginia to Australia, we thought it would be easy especially for our kids because it’s an English speaking country. Locals are so friendly and laid back but it took us months or probably a year to feel comfortable. We are back in the US now but no regrets. Wish you success. We are actually dreaming of your life right now, tropical Island paradise.
This is what I love in Sydney Australia. A bit layback but technology is one of the best in the world. Australia is full of rich and down to earth people. I saw it cause I worked in finance and banking industry. Some people don’t even know how much their savings are. Some are whooping millions. I migrated here from Philippines 40 years ago but never want to leave this country. I still visits Manila twice a year until Covid strikes. I have visited USA for 6 weeks but never went back. I didn’t enjoy it, traffic is also bad. Lots of beggars on the street. When I arrived in Sydney I had a culture shocked. Streets were empty I felt I was alone. I used to see lots of people on the streets in Manila and family and relatives around me. Shops shut early. Now I get used to it. I don’t even like big crowds and too many people around me. I don’t like the heat. I don’t like traffic. If it’s very hot on summertime I just put the air conditioner on so really I seldom felt the heat.
@@0308regina I really miss the laid back atmosphere there, the benefits are the best. I worked for the state. We visit the land down under but we stopped when Covid started. 2019 was our last. So sorry you did not enjoy your visit here, you must have visited parts of California, or parts of NY, Chicago or DC, I assure you it’s not the whole US. We are comfortable where we are and none of the homelessness and traffic. School is a priority for us so I made sure we live in blue ribbon school area. Taxes are high but worth it. Cheers!
@@cynthiaraymundo6983 you’re absolutely right. We went to LA, SF, Chicago, Florida, Las Vegas, NJ, NY. It was a thanksgiving month and we watched the parade in NYC but my gosh there were stinking odour coming from the manhole. I couldn’t believe I was seeing and smelling it in the heart of NYC. I was disappointed but we have to make the most of our holiday. Seeing my high school bff and my relatives and friends makes my travel to US worthwhile. Anyway Australia changed so much. Sydney was invaded by Lebanese and Chinese Developers. They built a lot of Units/Apartments using cheap not good quality materials. There were few buildings that had big crack on the walls that made a massive court proceeding case. I don’t really trust these mobs. Yes I understand they have to make some profits but the safety of the owners and renters must me their paramount goal but unfortunately it’s not the case. 40 years ago houses were on $40K to $45K with the land above 500 Sqm We bought our house for $120K with 800 Sqm. Now houses ranges from $800K to $5M depending which suburb you live in. Where I live very near the Sydney airport. Units ranges from $600K To $1.5M from 1-3 bedrooms. Houses ranges from $1M to 5M. This makes the young ones unable to buy their home for this stupid prices due to these developers. Sad.
i have a feeling ur hubby a very good man i am glad coz his mom together with ur journey to the other part of the world 👌
Yes he is and I’m a lucky wife🥰. Thank you very much.
This is a moving, beautiful account of your very long journey home🏡 .... Takes so much courage for your husband and his Mom to venture out of their comfort zone, their homeland. I'm also a Pangasinense living abroad. Good luck to you...

Nothing is forever. Your birthplace will always your home, This is another chapter of your lives and hopefully for the better if not the best. Let's hope only the best for your family, and as a Filipino living in the USA, I support you guys wholeheartedly. There are a lot of changes in the country as of now but returning home will not be too much of a burden for you. Enjoy and be safe.
So much respect for your husband for now might really hard but god will guide you guys for a better. Welcome to the philippines...

Something about your vlog, I am seeing loneliness and sadness, but hope and happiness are well filled with much love, and that made me subscribe.
Your journey away from the chaos going back to your birth country moved me. Your love to your husband and his mom I can see it. You are a good wife trying to get your family safe. God bless you guys and I subscribe right away 😊 I’ll watch your vlogs in the future too.
