I don't carry a tripod that often for it to force me to choose a different bag up to this point. I only have experience with lowepro bags. So my lowepro fastback BP 250AW 2 was better at carrying tripods either in the pouch or by the 2 straps that it has. I believe a newer version of the bag is out. I am able to fit alot in that bag, but it isn't has generous on space as the flip side PB 400 AW 3. All depends on how much you need to carry. Hope this helps.
I haven't tried to do that with the bag, but the promotional pictures and videos shows that it can. It should be possible if you don't pack the bag to make it too heavy.
Thanks man, your review is the deepest I have found, thanks for being so meticulous, now I know what the backpack is like

Very helpful video, thank you. Would you recommend an alternative backpack that handles tripods better?

You're supposed to leave one leg of the tripod out. Kinda silly but that's how it fits.
It is a bit silly not fit the entire thing. But at least there is space for something
do you use it flipped around on your waist? Curious if it can hold the weight while you're changing lenses for example

they definitely needed to put a tripod hanger in the front like older model flipsides, and also add another water bottle pouch to the other side.
One can wish. Not sure if all of that will happen with this bag design.
@@bammediafilms the front tripod holder shouldn't have been hard at all.
