I can’t believe they still make that bento snack. It’s been around since at least the early 80s when I was a kid living in Tokyo. Natto isn’t really a snack. People eat it with meals, usually on top of rice. It’s a very acquired taste and there are lots of Japanese that don’t like it too. Dango is pronounced da, like duh sound, not dang.

They are a lot of interesting Japanese snacks for sure. Even though I’m not Japanese. I grow up eating mini burger and mini pizza gummies also chocolate mushroom kit that you need to make mix them as well. Good memories but now I think back, those are filled with chemicals 😅
I have a local Asian supermarket and love going to buy all the different flavors of pocky. And Korean noodles sushi rice Thai paste and satay sauce ect
