  • VIDEO SUMMARY:
Baling new seeded ground with our old Ford 7710 and our Sperry New Holland 848 round baler.
    ABOUT US:
    Welcome to Southwind Farms.
We are small farm located in Quebec Canada where we raise Beef cattle along with some other farm animals such as pigs chickens and rabbits. During the warmer months you will usually see us in the fields getting our crops in along with doing some upgrades to our farm and maybe some machinery projects. During the colder months we spend our time feeding our animals, logging on the weekends and in the spring time making maple syrup. We might be a small farm compared to some other farms. Nevertheless we are working towards growing the farm each and everyday to make it our full time job.

    Hey!
I just bought the same baler.
Does the twine just feed through the guides or do you have to feed it into anywhere else after the yellow guides?

Feed it through the yellow guides and have the twine hangout a bit so when you extend them, the bale will catch the twine to start tying. After that it should be all set.

yes it was, mostly all ford tractors under a hundred horse power were built in Europe
      I believe.

@@SouthwindOfficial we have a Ford 7710 made in England but our Ford 7600 was made in the USA, some minor differences with European specs on the 7600 like the headlights on the European Ford are in the grill and the back window of course is different, also, the European spec has a separate handbrake other than the American spec has a floor handle, great tractors none the less!
