I tell ya, that Raeen is sharp as a razor with his on the fly movie critiques. They're very impressive movie analysts. I'm glad they enjoyed it, it's a fun antihero movie, one of my favorites. Ok so VENOM 2, LET THERE BE CARNAGE!

Venom is a synthesis between the good human Brock and the alien symbiote. Now, there was another symbiote that attached to a serial killer (see Carnage)
Definitely should have continued the mcu guys cmon.
Iron man was such a beloved character and the next movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was iron man 3.
Also this marvel character is a Villan spin-off of a main MCU character that hasn't showed up yet in the timeline of the mcu or hasn't been introduced properly in spidermans story as a villian as he should be!
Big mistake showing them this but it's fine considering it's a pretty standalone movie.
Trust me when I say continue the marvel Cinematic Universe in proper timeline order, and show them the original Tobey maguire/Andrew Garfield spiderman movies in between the mcu movies.

After the utter waste of film that was "Spider-Man 3" (2007), I really didn't expect this movie to be as good as it was when it was released. This one was a heck of a lot of fun. =)

Yeah, there would be no Venom without the Spiderman story that introduced it and there are stand alone Spiderman movies that aren't apart of the MCU much like this Venom movie isn't apart of the MCU.
Yes he is, a part of Venom stayed behind in main MCU continuity after Spider-Man: No Way Home. He was the 6th person that entered the MCU, Dr. Strange said Peter interrupted him six times, Peter corrected him and said he only did it five but Strange was right, there were six people who knew Peter was Spider-Man, just a different Peter, he sensed the Toby Peter who had worn a symbiote and was in the MCU at the time. Venom has a multiversal mind, like a hive mind that transcends a single universe, he knows everything every symbiote knows in every version of the multiverse, including the Venom from the Raimi S-M3.

Venom movies don't have any consequences to the marvel time-line/series. Who cares.
Just to avoid confusion, cause there are multiple Spiderman movies, you should show them the 2002 movie first. There are also some movies that are called The Amazing spiderman, and others that have the word "Home" somewhere on the title, those are not the ones you should start with, you can look up "Spiderman Sam Raimi triology" to avoid any confussion.

@@Adohleas they both are toxic. you can consume venom. in fact snake venom can increase the potency of alcoholic drinks. the alcohol makes the venom safe to ingest provided you are not allergic to the venom.
@@toomanyaccounts Not just alcohol makes it safe to drink, Venom is safe in most circumstances to consume. The only times it might not be is if you have active open wounds with blood passing out of those wounds in your mouth or upper stomach while consuming.
Venom is just modified saliva, basically modified proteins. They are safe to consume, but of course are dangerous if they get in your blood. However your digestive system easily breaks down those proteins so they are usually safe unless you run into issues like I stated above. Also there is always a very very small risk of allergies just like any food substance.
@@Adohleas snake venom can kill if it gets into the eyes hence why certain snakes spit. a small to medium amount may be broken down by the stomach but alcohol neutralizes the deadly elements. so why drink the venom pure when you get a more pronounced kick whisky that had a rattlesnake in it for a year. plus you then take snake out after a year chop him up as sushi. each bite takes you out of the world

Just for the background story arc of the symbiote and where it comes from. They were pretty confused about where it came from and what it was. But as I said. I don't think it keeps them from enjoying the movie not knowing that. Just think it would help them understand the concept of the symbiote better.
Please finish the MCU, next should be Iron Man 3. At least finish until endgame... we can ignore the rest

It regularly happens here that people don't understand the film properly because they lack essential information at the beginning that we take for granted. This can often be summarised in one sentence. That really gets me down. It's unnecessary suffering caused by thoughtlessness. I feel really sorry for people. To look at their feelings while watching a film, that's why I spend my time here. - But I also have to tell you that your comment isn't the greatest thing either.
