I like the idea of this, but I feel like we are right back where we started.
He half saved skid and pump, and then they got re corrupted. Pico was running, and now he's running again.
The only thing I can think of is that Skid and Pump bought him enough time to TRULY get away. That, and we learned he can save others as well as himself.
Truly get away and also hopefully enough time to save mommy mearest

Plus, even if he managed to save skid and pump but at the cost of him being corrupted, skid and pump are still just kids, they don't know what to do in a apocalyptic situation
from what i’m seeing, this series is going to be a sort of wild goose chase between pico and bf, with pico running around trying to uncorrupt the others before boyfriend shows up.
P.s. I like the detail pico smiling only after skid’s eye is visible too, as if he doesn’t wanna let his guard down till he makes a good amount of progress so he doesn’t make the mistake of letting his guard down against a mostly corrupted person again..

sheeesh that's good, the wait was really worth it, the sprites, chart and music are perfect, i really didn't expect new songs tho, retrospecter chiller was a remix but it fits so damn well, and at 11:40 i loved how skid tried to sing more, but the corruption just interrupted him

Wait, I'm a bit confused, so just to double check the story so far....
This takes place in a Bad Ending of the Corruption Mod where in the songs Tormentor, Neuroses, and Discharge, Boyfriend fails and loses consciousness again.
Pico, who is canonically the only character to not be fully controlled by the corruption, fights back against him. Singing his signature songs in reverse order (Blammed, Philly, Pico) He successfully rids himself (mostly) of the corruption.
(These are the events of Week 1)
In Week 2, Pico goes to the mansion that Skid and Pump are at in an attempt to uncorrupt them. He's successful for 2 songs, but Boyfriend finds them. Pico is forced to run away, leaving a partially uncorrupted Skid and Pump to fight him.
The 2 kids fight valiantly to save themselves and each other, but as Pump succumbs to his fate, Skid begins to lose hope and fails in the next song.
So if I have it all correct, Pico is still the only one uncorrupted, correct?

@@Graysoneli2 It makes complete sense, if you think about the combined power the corruption had put into Skid and Pump as well as the amount of power Boyfriend had been getting.
But if I'm right, hearing the music from M.I.L.K. near the end of the video, Pico actually escaped Boyfriend while he tries to recorrupt Skid and Pump after Pico had just saved them, and he is currently running towards Mommy Mearest's car to undo what the corruption had forced him to do to her before, so that the power on both sides of this interesting battle are gonna match up.
1st & 2nd Songs: *Pico comes in* I'ma save you right now just hold on tight
3rd & 4th Songs: Sorry I need to take a breather real quick. *Pico walks away, Bf comes in* Haha you're doomed
5th Song: *Pico comes in* So uh yeah I got corrupted again. For real this time. *The 3 of them lose hope and get corrupted*

Honestly? i kind of *LIKE* the fact that Pico wasn't successful in saving the Spooky kids, it emphasizes just how much of a monumental task he has on his hands when the entire world is against him, as well as reminding us that just because Pico got a win against CBF, he's still a serious threat to contend with (especially considering that Pico still isn't *completely* rid of his own corruption).
Pico has one chance at undoing this mess, he can't afford to take risks.
Then again, the fighting back mod kinda seems similar to a zombie apocalypse. Why can't Pico just run over to Tankman's military encampment and get help from there. Or why could he not join hands with Hank? There are some allies out there that are available in this corrupted world.
@@soulslayer101barkandzion7 Tbf, at this point in time he's literally only *just* broken free of the corruption and was trying to get Corrupted BF off his tail, he hasn't had time to really do anything yet.

@@soulslayer101barkandzion7 Plus mods aren’t cannonnnnnn. Not entirely except for cameos so Hank isn’t real until the real game comes out canonically with him. Plus this takes place after BF had his fight in his mind but in this universe he lost to his corruption and fell unconscious and back in control of the corruption. Meaning this was after EVERYONE in the world was infected, only just now Pico learned how to break free :)

Dang, you can REALLY hear the desperation in Skid and Pump's themes this go around. Imagine how it must feel, knowing you've been given a second chance, only for that to be all ripped away from you in an instant, desperately trying to hold onto the last shreds of hope you were left with.

I love it's quite clear that Skid and Pump want to go back to how things used to be, considering the 2 songs they sing with Pico sound like Spookeez and South

This was basically the Corruption controlling Skid and Pump and forcing them to take unnecessary revenge on Pico until Pico tried to get them out and Corrupted Boyfriend came in.

For the bonus song, I know it's not cannon to the original fighting back lore, but it might be a hint to something, maybe it is a hint to pico getting recorrupted. No hopes left if pico is recorrupted because boyfriend Is occupied by it, now all we wait for is pico vs mom, but since mom is a demon, her corruption form will be much stronger, so maybe other demons like dad can at least do something, but since this is after the corruption happened, dad already got fully consumed by the corruption, and pft, dad would be much harder to save than mom as mom is mostly overconfident and thinks she can easily win against an enemy without using her powers, while the dad can go full on his enemy and corrupt the enemy in just a span of maybe 2-3 songs. But don't give your hopes up, maybe if mom gets saved she can save dad, maybe this time she won't be overconfident thinking she could sing the corruption off and win, maybe she will finally use her powers, but pico easily corrupted the mom. So I don't even know if the mom will be easily saved. Or will she recorrupt pico, but all we need to do is wait

I really hope it doesn't become a scrapped project like the uncorruption mod from Blantados since this mod has a lot of potential and a good future for it.

I really like it, for me it would have been interesting if pico manages to un corrupt pump but not skid on time for boyfriends arrival, so he picks pump and leaves and he is not only sad for not having skid, he feels guilty for being responsable for corrupting him in the first place si he fights him in a 1v1
