We are all human and make mistakes. The amazing thing is we have a God who gives second chances, and He can help us give our spouse second chances as well.
I found that an interesting statement, but they say marriage is based on trust. I was thinking of a cancer patient who is 'clean' amd goes for a control, sometimes, even if a doctor will say 10x you are cancer free a patient might not be able to completely believe it, or trust their body ever again.
I've heard what Chris did with infidelity..but do you have any part in it...I often turn my husband away .. I havent dealt with my sexual abuse and i can't have sex without feeling like I'm being violated..he turned to porn and had affairs.. im not saying im responsible for his choices but I acknowledge I carry hurt that affects him..do you share any of this or do you find you had absolutely nothing to contribute to the situation? I also already carried deep rejection, abandonment and insecurity before we even met so he was in for a tough time from get go.. I am controlling and have near no trust whatsoever .. its really tough on him..if not by the grace of God...I don't know why he's still with me???
