- "How can I persuade my anti-pet parents to let me get a ferret?" I had this great question from Radioactive GT (@user-zi3wm9cs6o). If you're in the same position, or you're a parent/guardian/partner who is constantly being nagged for a pet ferret, watch this together đ„°đŸ It covers the pros and cons of keeping a ferret in your bedroom. Thanks.

Dreamer, waiting to know where i'll live long term before getting them (especially since they are not allowed in some countries bleh)
Ferrets: Smell. If at the end of the day I smell of ferret, Iâve had a good day. Bonded friend. But Maâam, I am my ferrets bonded friend (Iâm am the dishwasher too). Time out of cage: All of the time that Iâm at home except bedtime, when after running around the bedroom and finally settling in a carrier bag itâs scoop her up, kisses and a cuddle and then she sleeps in her own en-suite cage right next to my bed. Food: Brunch with me with a tray and Sugarpuff (one of her many little names) on my lap. Dinner, Brunch but with her specially made (I am the cook) chicken soup. Remember that the ferret is called a âstinking little furry thiefâ in Latin and yes they do like to steal things and stash them in hidy - holes. When a ferret comes into your life, it will steal your heart. When it leaves, when itâs little heart stops beating, it will break your heart. I know. Ferrets are great bundles of mischief all wrapped up in a very small fur coat. They are inquisitive, like to explore, determined in their endeavours and playful. Some, like my little female are solitary and donât like other ferrets in their territory with possible fatal consequences. Therefore thatâs why itâs just me and my little gal (Sprite). I got her from a rescue nearly 4 years ago where she was listed as 4 years old. â€ïž Together Forever - Forever Together â€ïž

Hey Robin.. thank you! We're definitely settled up in Scotland now. I hope you're well xx
đđđ ZORO Cant SMELL
haha, you would think that from how much he sleeps in the poop tray đ
Yes you're right the ferret's lifespan is 5 to 7 years. My Princess lived 7 years... For me was a very short period of time đąđąđą I miss them so much đąđąđą
đąđą Hopefully my little business can help fill a ferret-sized hole in your life đ„°đŸ
@@FerretTubeTV thanks!!! I really appreciate your words đ€

whats the best kibble u suggest?
Great question, thank you! I will do a post about this because it's complicated to find a good one! I use a mix of IAMS kitten and Applaws kitten, which are both pretty good in terms of what they DON'T include!
Def not what Iâd recommend for young children.
Oh goodness me no... ferrets are a big responsibility. Thanks for the reminder :)
I disagree with one thing you said, I believe they need to be out of the cage for a minimum of 6 hours a day. Also I would let a potential new owner know they are crepuscular, which means they are most active during dawn and dusk so if you're not a heavy sleeper and they are in your room they can wake you up.
I love the part where one of your ferrets pats the other one's head when you were talking about bonding đ„čđđŸ
Of course longer than four hours is ideal. But if they have each other and decent enrichment in the sleep cage, 4 hours of fully active play should be enough đ„° Yes, that's a good point about sleep cycles. Thanks for adding it! đ„°đ„°
