So.. About Arcturus.. I got "Centaur A Carbine" about 8 months ago, serial number 172, so I was pretty surprised by that. Gun is awesome, for its price point, the build quality is amazing, no issues so far and one big plus., it looks way different, which I like. Have not seen another one of those and I would really buy another one of those. :)
Hi Jonathan, nice review. I got the Arcturus AR-15 a couple of week ago and my thoughts are similar to yours. I've not gamed it yet, but she is a very handsome gun. I don't like the oversized mag release, they didn't give me a spare. Also the mags rattle like mad as does the stock. I swapped the stock for a G&G Firehawk stock and used the Arcturus on the Firehawk as I modded it for an external battery carry and didnt want to ruin a nice stock. My main issue with the Ar-!5 was that with an 11.1 lipo, when you change down from full auto to semi, the motor seems to overspin and give you a sort of 3 shot burst feature. You have to full auto to safe then back to semi for single shot. Its fine with a 7.4 though. The flip up sights are pretty horrible as well, so I put the nice ones from my LVOA on it which is much lovely, as you say, at a price point of 200 euro, its a lot of gun if it stands up to use.

Hi there. I have of these... The only rant's I have is that some mags doesn't feed well and the bolt catch realease button fell off. With the g&g mids caps it works fine. It has good trigger response and excellent accuracy.

I was wondering if you’ve ever heard of a company named Arbor Arms, the basic breakdown is that it’s a private owned business, owned by two gentlemen named Jonathan (ironically) and Nick. Both of whom served in the military respectfully and outstandingly so. Jonathan as a Scout Sniper and later instructor, Nick as an Army Ranger. After retiring Jonathan worked for Ares Armor and worked his way through the ranks until a dispute with the new owner made him leave the business. A few years later he started up Arbor Arms with help from Nick. They hand sew and manufacture plate carriers, vests, pouches, and a few other goods. I personally own their FLEX CAS plate carrier which is an amazing piece of kit. It has this elastic cummerbund that forms to you and holds the vest just as well with a much higher level of comfort, it also is equipped with cobra buckles to clip instead of having to lift the massive flap to Velcro the cummerbund down. I was just wondering if you could maybe give these guys a look see and maybe even review their stuff because I’m really avid about the small American businesses that are out there. Especially ones that make amazing gear like Odin Arms and other companies. Jonathan himself is an amazing guy and very respectful, I accidentally ended up calling the company at 1am forgetting about my time zone difference... turns out his place of business is his home. He was really cool about it and did not seem annoyed at all, I sure would have been. But he answered my questions and even got the kit out to me the very next day. Please give them a look, their gear is amazing and worth every penny. Thanks a lot for the videos and work you put in! I learn a ton from everything you post.

I just bought one of these lemme say this thing is an absolute beast and I love it! Your video helped clinche this specific model as I've been tracking Arcturus for some time one question I have is does the stock actually detach from the weapon I can't seem to get mine off to access the quick change better lemme know thanks!!

I used to have that gun and I was very happy with it, the space for the battery is so small and not all mags feed well but once you get it to shoot, it's not bad.

I have one of these on order but finding it difficult to get a 600mah battery. What size 7.4v lipo do you think I could go to and it still fit.
This is actually cool for an m4, I’m surprised so much is included! Usually you are lucky to have a battery in the box.
warmcolour Yes, but normally any battery and/or charger included are not of the highest quality especially for lower priced AEGs. So unless you are a complete beginner with NO gear at all, you would only use the included battery and charger until you can buy better later, or use your own battery/batteries.
But you are right, this does look quite good with a lot for the money

I'm purchasing the Arcturus AK105 later this month. Seems to be kinda par with LCT AKs on paper but still pretty new so ppl around me are not sure yet
I bought the gun in canada and it came with 2 polymer arcturus mag(mid and high) and came with a normal pair of sight (magpull type)
I looked at one of these in my local shop and was blown away, this unit is solid! Will it replace my Systema PTW, probably not. I am thinking of picking one up thoe, because it's so nice!

Surely if an enemy player is close enough to you that you need to switch to iron sights over an optic (obviously optic dependent, but let's say an Aim point Micro red dot) the trajectory caused by the hop won't matter as the bb will hit before it has a chance to curve?
does the bb hop/spin realy get affected at the short range you would be using the 45 degree sights at? i want to run a pair on my rifle when i set my build up after COVID mostly for aesthetics, but i always assumed id use them for targets at reeeaaaly short range so i didnt think the hop jump would affect it too much
How long can your inner barrel be before it starts to hurt your distance rather than improve it?
If the tilt sights was left handed sights, you can still functionally use them as "offset sights" while still hilding the gun more or less upright
Can you put a buffer tube, and a regular stock on this?
Are Hicapas a category of a gun?

They'll be around the same price, with this being full metal, but the Amoeba having pretty good internals...marry please?
i own a Ares Amoeba Badger (not the current gen) and i LOVE it its on par with my polar star me and 2 other team mates run amoebas
so it would still be a hard choice between the 2 i would have to hold and shoot this thing first hand before i say its a good alternative
as the Amoeba i am after 3 years still running fully stock
the thing is a beast
I'm running one as my primary as well (although it's not quite stock anymore, since I enjoy tinkering), which is why I commented in the first place xD
You got a point here, without actually handling the Arcturus I couldn't tell if it would have a chance of surpassing it...
It might be possible to use the Amoeba internals with the Arcturus' metal body, though~
to be fair, with a burst wizard or similar, it might be on par with the amoeba innards.

I just picked one of these up and can not find out what battery to run in it that’s small enough not to put stress on the connection cable, anyone have any suggestions?
Hey what's your opinion for somebody who doesn't play Airsoft very often because of the fact that they are busy with work and stuff and usually don't have the weekends off but when they do they usually go out and play with their buddies should they get a high-end expensive gun or would it be fine if less expensive stuff but more like used and rebuilt items to have kind of a small stockpile or arsenal of Airsoft guns
Everyone complains about to many M4 variant rifles out there, witch I get that cause there are alot, BUT None of these company's would still be alive of they stray away from the M4 platform. I LOVE the M4 platform and will never use anything else.. Great review Jonathan, thank You

The one exception being LCT. Their HKs and AK variants are all top-notch and popular. You can also kiiiiinda throw CYMA in there since they sell a ton of AKs.
And JingGong with the G36. TM with the hi-capa and the VSR. You don't need M4s to sell.
Agreed but if you think about it everyone copied off of Tokyo Marui so it's kinda easy for them to make gums😂😂

I feel like the sights would suit cqb players more. This is because everyone is close together and the hop hop won't make a massive difference. I might be wrong but it's a bit like tilting your pistol when shooting round a corner.

Me and some friends have that model and we're amazed by it, we love how it works and its design. We only found a problem, certain mags don't feed well because they're too loose, aside that, I'm very happy with it.

The smallest size battery you can find, the space for the battery in the pdw model is so scarce. I always bring two 1000mAh batteries with me.

I thought you'd probably look at the Arcturus Centaur B as that looks quite interesting, Arcturus are owned by MOS who also own E&L so in theory they should be very good quality, I'd be interested to know your thoughts on the Centaur B
Got Centaur B and its great. only change nozzle for beter seal (stock got poor).
I have a centar b in the us and its great externals and good fps at 395 and very accurate. I've only upgraded the motor to an asg 40k motor for better trigger response.

clayman0 skycade it's alot of fun a few tips from a current player. Eye/face protection and Shoes are just as important (or more) as the gun you are using. You probably already know that though. Have fun and call your hits being my last 😁.

If you haven't got a gun yet, I really recommend the G&G CM16 M4's. Its the Honda Civic of airsoft. Will last years without breaking. Years.

to be honest krytac isint that beginner friendly. they cost quite a bit of money and is a bit overkill for someone getting into the sport.
I love my Arcturus ar06 the only thing I am not a fan of if is the proprietary gearbox, I tried to install a Titian and yea I had to buy a vfc gearbox shell In order for it to work, other than that, it’s awesome

Will we ever see a rotating hop up that will allow players to hold our guns at an angle or even shoot sideways and not make the B.B. fall off or curve?

It's not a US market gun yet. Either way the price Jonathan said of low $200 range is in USD. If it was only around $200HKD that would be like $26USD and that's not right just looking at it.

Normally not a fan of newer style AR's as I feel they look too flashy and goofy. This one, however, I like! Looks clean and simple, I might look into this one more!

Recently I picked up a Tacticon Armament Predator V1 Red Dot Sight | Green Dot Sight | VETERAN OWNED | Rifle Optic Reflex Sight. It was dirt cheap on Amazon so I didn't have high hopes for it. After a few weeks of play with it, I am really happy with it based off its price point. I'd love to see you do a review on it and hear your thoughts.

Is the Krytac Vector worth it? I know people say the trigger isn't the best. Do you think they will fix this issue and come out with an updated version?

If I’m not mistaken, there was a video made that compared the KRYTAC Kriss Vector to the G&G ARP9, which ultimately determined that all but four things (out of 10-12 categories I think) favoured the $210 ARP9 over the $450 KRYTAC Vector, and two of the ones that didn’t favour the ARP9 also didn’t favour the Vector: they tied in those two categories. If you can find it, it’s worth a watch.
If they do improve functionality and price, I’d buy it. But for now, I’d rather just grab an ARP9 for a Glock-mag AR platform.

I've investigated the G&G ARP9 and it wasn't really the gun for me. I'm trying to mainly decide between the Vector and the ASG Scorpion Evo. I've shot the Evo before and was very happy with its performance. I have not shot the Vector so I'd be going off what people say about it. The main concern for me is the trigger. Some people say it takes some getting used to while others say it's garbage. Im just having a tough time deciding between those two airsoft guns

bdw do u have anny tips to make some mags work whit others replica's. a friend of mine just bought new mags but it dousnt feed that good for his airsoft gun. there is like a little wiggle possible so anny solutions?
Wolfmen Gaming put velcro at the back of the magwell to push the mag into a more forward position causing it to feed better
Wolfmen Gaming try some Velcro (the fuzzy side obviously) in the magwell. Or a few layers of electrical tape works well I find, since Velcro sometimes gets dirty and gets compressed over time.

I am noticing that the Air-Soft industry NOW has the best replicated non-lethal weapons. I did the air-soft battle thing once ...it was great. However; it is not my thing. I DO collect replica fire arms for display in my cave ...all are BB's or pellets because I DO enjoy plinking with them ...& of course ...I like those with power enough to have an impact on targets or at least blow holes in cans. Light weight plastic BB's will not do this ...so I do not own an air-soft rifle. ...YET! A G28 is on my "to-buy-list"!
My (silly?) question is this ...can I shoot 6 mm steel ball bearings through these things?
