There’s also people who just like being roommates. Like genuinely we’re roommates in college or smt and moved into an apartment and just stay in a shared living space and live their own lives as friends but just split rent, it’s not super uncommon but a lot of people just eventually have different life plans experiences or career goals but if they have steady income in the area and are good roommates and the rent or lease agreements or bought property doesn’t change then there’s not a point to change living situations or anything else.
right? I'm aro and I would love to have this kind of partnership when I'm older, but not necessarily be in a relationship with, but be together for the sake of being together. i think alot of ppl stereotype Shayne as bi because of the fact he's married to Courtney as well. like i don't actually know what Courtney identifies as (and i'm not abt to speculate, it's nothing i need to know) but i do know she goes by she/her/they and has expressed a few times that she isn't entirely straight, and alot of ppl assume that a man can't be straight if he's with a queer person, but that just isn't true at all. i once knew two ppl in a relationship, one identified as bi and genderfluid and the other identified as a straight man. he fully acknowledged and accepted his partners identity but that didn't automatically make him queer. i had another friend that was a straight woman and her partner was bigender (he/she prns). sexuality and relationships themselves are a whole spectrum, and it's really only up to the ppl involved to determine how they want to define themselves. if Shayne identifies as straight then he's straight, there's nothing more to it than that (sorry for ranting lmao i just have alot of thoughts on this particular topic. also side note i thought the whole "bi ppl cuff their jeans" and other such things was known to be a joke in the bi community?? like it's just a silly gay joke same as "gay ppl can't sit correctly"?? i didn't realise ppl actually took that seriously 😭)
