this sword seems almost like its been scaled up a little too large on accident, it seems too large overall for the type of sword. Definitely reminds me of Tod Cutlers video on the scale of reproductions.

The packaging, the leather sheathe with that particular locket, the lack of distal taper and the prominent secondary bevel indicates that this is made by Windlass.
this type of sword would have been much more controllable if they had post medieval complex hilts
Lol its called a basket hilted broad sword 😉 p.s. viking swords are plenty controllable if they're properly made. Which ones have you handled? My tinker viking is great very well balanced and light.

It is quite rigid. The tip is not particularly designed for thrusting, but it will certainly not bend a lot.
