    Love this! How long does it take to get to the top by various lifts? And back down is 20min? I presume by length of the video…
    Would love to know how much time you need to do this…

    • @skicrown
      @skicrown  Před měsícem +1

      It will take about an hour to reach the top. There are 5 ski lifts to get to the peak from Solden, Gaislachkogl Tal or Giggijoch Tal. The descent from the top to the bottom without breaks took us 20 minutes. Good luck!

    This is a beautiful track but I'm not sure why so many places claim it's 15 KM, it is about 11 or 12 depending on line.

    • @skicrown
      @skicrown  Před 5 měsíci

      There are several methods of calculating the length of a ski run. We assumed, like most people, that we were giving the real line of the skier on the route. While going down, the skier makes turns, increasing the length of the route in a straight line by 20-30% depending on the number of turns.

    What is the best slope for beginers/intermediates in Solden?

    • @skicrown
      @skicrown  Před 2 měsíci

      The general rule is to avoid black routes. The blue slopes are for beginners and the red slopes are for intermediate skiers. Additionally, difficult ski slopes are unprepared or narrow ski runs.

  • @AZINAHH
    @AZINAHH Před 5 měsíci

    That black 7, is it too difficult for and intermediate skier like me? I want to try this whole run but not sure because of that

    • @skicrown
      @skicrown  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Every intermediate skier can ski down the black slopes. Apart from the steep slope of the ski run, the greatest difficulty is ice and moguls. If the black route has no ice or moguls - you'll be fine!

    This was recorded end of January / beginning of February this year? At that time I was in Ischgl and the snow conditions were much better than that. Also last week of February I was in Solden and did this route several times.... snow was perfect and everything was white? This looks pretty hot in the valley.

    • @skicrown
      @skicrown  Před rokem

      We've recorded this ski run before. What is beautiful about skiing is the changeability of conditions. When skiing down the same route, you can have completely different feelings depending on the conditions.

    Looks fun, but such was the bad experience I had the first time I ever tried skiing, it put me off it for life, so my skiing is now restricted to watching skiing videos on You Tube. Skiing, you're welcome to it.

      лучше кататься во второй половине января, в марте снег, как видно, только на трассах в нижних частях трасс
      но катание с пика даже в марте прекрасное
