- Port Barton is definitely a place to go to relax, if you want to get away from the overcrowded El Nido and Coron then this is your place.

I stayed 2 days in Port Barton and loved it, cant wait to go back. Next time will stay longer. Nice video.
Guys, i notice several posts re: leblanc. I agree with your observations. The same as well with other vloggers. I hope they go back to their "passion" as it was the very reason why they were able to inspire and influence a lot of people.
That said, we also have to keep in mind that it was also leblanc's passion that inspired a lot of other newer vloggers to come to Southeast Asia because of what they saw from leblanc's travels. Leblanc was instrumental in opening the eyes of other young people from the West (finn, cody world travels and several other even smaller youtubers i have watched) to come to the Philippines, Thailand and even Indonesia. A market that our Department of Tourism might not have reached if we just depended on them. These other youtubers are watched by a market we would not have reached. So let us balance that. My point here is, i just want to highlight the good of Leblanc. He deserves that.
We also have to understand that vloggers need to earn money too so they keep their passion going. Just keep it real. That's all we ask.
Anyway Finn, kudos to you. Keep It up. We are here to support you.

What youre talking about is so common. I have met so many Filipino's that have not explored much of their own country. The're either busy working, working in a foreign land or content enjoying their own little beaches...of which there are MANY in the Philippines. I read an article onetime that surprised me .Summary: the Philippines has twice the coastline of the USA ! When I first brought my wife here from the Philippines, what impressed her the most was NOT what I expected. What did impress her more than anything was the Blue Ridge Parkway, which is a road that is at the top of the Allegheny mountain ridges and goes for hundreds of miles starting at 4000 feet elevation and eventually climbing to about 6000 feet. The second thing which impressed her greatly is the Chesapeake bay. I know of many people that live within an hours travel ...but have never stopped to see up close. :-)

There were small uninhabited islands people can camp off port barton, tiny white sand islands. We did it before for 3 days. Did a little fishing, saw a small "friendly" shark when snorkeling which freaked me out. Btw, it seem Port Barton hasn't change much since then. Missed that place. Awesome drone capture!
I wasn't allowed to do that this time but I asked.. They said to much danger of terrorism right now.. :/

Found out about you from Bret and Daniel's latest vlog trip in Mindanao and also my friend told me she met you guys on the said trip. I was looking at your old videos and found this vlog, my cousin owns a hotel/lodge there and was able to spot their yacht from your drone footages, I remember jumping out of the boat and swimming to the shores of white beach when we were there. I miss Port Barton so much, really really different from the touristy areas in Palawan. Thanks for sharing about this place, really hope people will start exploring the beautiful islands in San Vicente.

That is so true! I stopped watching Christian. I also follow Coshan Uncharted, their adventures include off the beaten path and a very nice couple, too!
I agree bsaldy. I think Lost le blanc has lost his plot gradually. I used to follow his travel post, yeah gets too commercialized and also I'm personally fed up seeing his post thumbnails showing his girlfriend's butt or cleavage, 2 or 4 times is enough. I'm not here tracking sexy butts or spiced up boobs , and it's getting unrealistic , blurring the eye a bit it can be mistaken like a porn channel. I'd like to watch genuine travel log with pure sense of adventure experience.
Oh I agree, his videos as very well edited now but they lost their original essence and yes he´s got a sexy girlfriend but using her as a thumbnail is already getting on my nerves and I´m a guy. I tend to prefer more realistic and raw vlogs like Finn´s and others I enjoy a lot.
yeah. like casey niestat. once the media or products caught their attention and they became big, ads starts coming in. riding in the bandwagon. so for this channel, stay authentic. he needs more subscriber though to keep going. i heard that if u press skip during ads before the video, the ad owners wont pay the video owner. so be patient with the ads

Port Barton was noticed by European travelers since the late "80's because of its long stretch of sandy beaches and devoid of tourists that they can go clothing optional. The main issue then was the sand flies; are they still a problem?
