In today Crochet Tutorial I will be showing you how to crochet a Water Bong KeyChain.
This is a easy to follow Crochet tutorial that even beginners can do!

Instead of glue and a wad of yarn, I crocheted the top of the bowl piece with green yarn and stuffed it a little, and tried to cinch it down a little so it was like concave in the bowl. Then I stitched some red through the middle to look like it was lit lol. I think it looks pretty cute. Just an idea guys!! I don’t have any glue so this was my alternative hahah. Great pattern though I really love it!!
I did too. The last row I did in front loops and added the green to back loops
Very easy to follow and the end result is soo cute!
I used a larger hook and got a decent sized bong.

Thank you for this tutorial and the free pattern! I used mugwart inside the bowl and left the top open with stuffing coming out like "smoke"

I've found it really helpful on mouths, cheeks, etc. to fold your yarn in half once it's on the needle so you're basically threading 2 at a time instead of going over it twice for a thicker line

Love this. But did you skip a decrease row?
I added a decrease row after adding the bowl. I did 2 single crochet and 1 decrease all the way around for that row. Then single crochet the rest of the way up.
The last decrease round I don't see it done in the video, I'm guessing it was decrease 10 times, I use CC because I'm partially deaf and couldn't hear it?

It really depends on how fast you crochet but I would say a hour for an average maker

It scales up quite nicely if you just use a larger hook. I’m making one now with a 10mm hook and 4 weight Red Heart yarn and it’s looking like it’s going to end up being like 6”-12” tall.
I didn't give it a face but my husband loves it 💕 💗

There's no way the 4 weight yarn I have would work with a 2.5mm hook. I don't think you're using a 4 weight. It looks awful thin. Either way, very cute project 💜
I have used sugar n cream with this project. It is a bit tight yes but it can be done 😊

I thought the same thing! I did one using cheap acrylic yarn in weight 4 and mine came out a little chunkier. Still absolutely adore it though! Planning to make a couple more for some friends of mine. I've even thought about pairing it with a tiny nug with eyes as well as a duo Keychain type situation but havnt Decided just yet.

@@Dream9Designhi yes im watching this and for some reason i cannot get past crocheting the bowl part, everytime i start im crocheting the inside of the bowl so it’s caving downward but when i watch your video you’re crocheting from the outside and i have watched 6-7x i don’t know what i’m doing wrong, can you make a more specific video just showing which stitches you’re going into exactly, i really want to crochet this for me and my friends, is there another way to make the bowl?
I can try to do a close up video. However maybe use a looser tension as well would maybe help 💗

I accidentally did the whole thing as a dc
