The day we bought it the turkeys all quit laying eggs. They were sitting on 19 eggs and seven hatched. They have started laying eggs again and we put them in the incubator but had no idea where to put the water for humidity. We put a damp rag in it and went to you tube where we were blessed to find your video. The plan is to put the bitties in a large bird cage we have until they get some size before adding them to the flock, because the turkeys stepped on and slept on the last seven hatchlings leaving only two alive, but hey they are turkeys so what can you expect. We don't figure we can do any worse job of this than the turkeys have done. george and aurora
I'm glad you said something about you only need a tiny bit of water in the bottom I thought all of those Chambers needed to be filled up I didn't want to wreck my eggs so I just took a lot of that water out

Last month, I had a similar situation, and I opened the incubator on day 21 to get 6 chicks out and I ended up with 21 “SHRINK WRAPPED” dead chicks stuck in their eggs. Any suggestions?
Yes, it should be hooked up while on ac power, so that in case of power outtage it automatically switches to the dc power cos there is an inverter on the incubator.

I bought excatly the same incubator but I haven't been successful with any hatch yet as the turkey eggs die in the eggs before hatching I really want to know if my settings are wrong as I set the temp at 37.7-37.9and the humidity at 45-68%. Pls help
Temperature too much dear. It should be between 36.5 to 37.5 degrees centigrade. I have been successfully with hatching turkeys and chickens at that temperature.

Thanks for this video. Mu humidity number keeps flashing and does not seem to be going up anymore. I added enough water and it started going up but then stopped and won’t stop flashing. Also when I go to set the HS the highest number it shows is 30.00...

I have left them in their for 3 days with no problem I have never seen them starve or look weak

YES, connect dually. If power goes off battery kicks in automatically, and if power resumes it takes off grid and not battery...

with temperature 38.1 the humidity is 67/68 i dont put water inside also how to decrease the humidity level u to 60% please any suggestion?
