One day at the bins I found 60+ Gucci, Hermes, and Charvet ties in one pile! Crazy.
Tooled leather is what that western belt with the brass buckle is called. Excellent find

The Ralph Lauren tie, I think the word "deck" belongs in there somewhere. "Cruising" or "cruise" as well.
I live in Kentucky and Keeneland is in Lexington. It is renowned and absolutely gorgeous. If you ever have a chance to visit there. Again excellent find

That Brioni tie looks awesome, I sell mostly clothing but theres alot of crossover in terms of brands.

Great video man. Can't say I approve of you exposing one of the last known honey hole niches lol I live in a big metro city, and go out daily for ties. One of my favorites to sell next to Mens clothing, and shoes. Nice pick ups btw....keep gaining knowledge on ties. There are some hidden gems, and it gers pretty deep. Kidding about my first statement btw. I've already got competitors lol but once you study study study just know your most likely going to find something good. This goes to anyone that is as stubborn, and competitive as myself when I put my foot forward. Havnt met too many 😆 Great video Keep em comin

FYI. Tra FAL gar. Like the square in London where the statue of King George IV gets soiled by all the pigeons. Hermes is Air MAY. And Yves Saint Laurent is pronounced Eve San LorAWN. I know. I’m one of THOSE people. Sorry. Sure appreciate the offer.
I used to pronounce Hermes as Air May, but I watched a video on pronouncing French designers and they said you pronounce it as Air mess with the ss pronounced really hard that makes it sound almost like zz... I'm one of THOSE people too - lol...

@@jimmymcthrifty before we could find buckles everywhere but these days you can find them only for crazy prices. Still Pearl Snap shirts are good enough

Any tips (or video) on techniques of sifting through ties quickly and efficiently? Do you grab a handful and sift? It seems daunting to not lose your place or get tangled in the row of ties.
You're right, sifting through is the worst part. I do grab a handful at a time and start at the back of a row. I then turn them so I can see the back.

I think I am using some other ebay, and not the one where ties and belts sell well LOL. I have tons of designer ties left from my late uncle, so I checked sell thru rate, it VERY low.
Yes, sell through rate is slower on ties than belts. If you price them right though they will sell.
@@jimmymcthrifty sold ties are very low price, .99 - 5$ max, with some rare exceptions. Not sure if it worth time to list them for low. My local thrift store sells them by packs, 20 ties for 99 cent a package, some packages I see for $1.99 for some reason. Would be nice if they really be a good sale items, but they are not. Good for you if you find those are being good seller for you. Very nice ))
