This is a hard 1 arm dip, if you look at a one arm muscle up you see the dip is easier as you only do a half rep and your armpit is around the bar, you can try this to make it easier for yourself

One detail you missed. The guy in the original video pushed into his thigh with his free hand. That helped him make better contact with his leg on the pole. It also helped him stiffen his body frame.

In the original video the guy was using a horizontal bar where his hand was placed on top of the vertical bar! So he had better balance and center of gravity unlike these guys whose horizontal bar was curved and away from the vertical one! If you do weighted dips it is doable 👍🏻

Lol you guys missed two pretty big clues as to how he makes it easier, not only is he balancing his feet against the bar but if you look at his non-gripping arm you'll notice how tensed it is because he's using it to push his legs into the bar more. He is also wearing shoes and ones that specifically have rubber soles that stick out on the side allowing him to get even more grip to help get his legs involved. Don't get me wrong it's still an incredible feat of strength to do it but I think that if you guys had utilized these techniques you'd have been much more successful.

The Indian guy is the video was able to put his hand directly over the pole and effectively kept his whole body aligned throughout the entire dip. I think this makes a huge difference. Everyone who tried it on the jank setup had to bend forward and twist and lost balance at some point.
