Everyone is like Armin should've died. Yeah I think it's sad that Erwin died, but I feel like it was the natural choice of the show. Everything else would've been weird. As we all know by now the author thought everything through.

I have watched this scene and heard this speech for hundreds of time until now and i still get chills all over each time . I sincerely hope for myself that I never ever get used to this scene .
Also as a student of history and coming from a land which has seen massive bloodshed due to invasions , this is one of the best piece of historical realism ever portrayed in the history of visual arts . I am just thankful that it exists .

This really shows you how AOT is more realistic compared to life, when they said "there's a chance he'll be fine" or "he's going to survive", it goes to show you how much other animes give a child-like optimism in such scenes but AOT really showcase how much truth & pain there is when there's really no other option
other animes with such showcasings are vinland saga, chainsaw man, berserk, black lagoon. Any anime with gore really if anyones interested

The only speech out of every anime I watched that made me shiver. This speech is God tier level
I finished this episode last night and couldn’t slept whole night! Immense pain! While watching this scene I was like what an idiot! But after hearing his speech I was like give me a fucking horse!
