    Really good video Charlie and Jess.
    I didn't install a snare since I was 12-13 year old and watching your video give me a thought of doing it.

      I demo this in this video. A little practice and it becomes quick and easy to do time and time again.

    Use the pliers just close them and use use outside.

      Yes, with the tapered nose on the pliers the eye of the snare slides right off. When making snares at home I use a milk can hole-punch that tapers to a fine point. Makes for perfect eyes of a snare.
