Well THIS song played on spotify today and I've been crying listening to it on repeat. It brings back so many memories. High school, my band, my deceased brother and my departed best friends. Most of all, it reminds me of who I was and how much I've changed.. I'll be 32 this March... I miss you Chris, Blake and Ross. I think I'm starting to miss myself too.. I haven't checked here for replies since I posted but just a bit ago after getting up for work I was searching for an unrelated email and stumbled on one about replies to my comment. Your words and empathy mean the world to me! This song strikes a chord in my heart that is hard to describe but best I can do is say it's like listening to my souls song... probably doesn't make alot of sense to some but I feel like it does to you. I too make music orrr used to. These days all I do is grind for my family. I do got some gear still packed away somewhere. I'm mainly a vocalist, was for a handful of metal bands, I also play guitar, bass and a bit of drums. If you'd be inclined I'd totally collab with you, it would truly be an honor to do so. This band is so underrated
Bumble Bee doo doo da da Yeah, they have honestly had some of the best, tightest arpeggio solo-guitarists I know of. I mean no one beat's Tosin Abasi, but most bands nowadays play good riffs, but really sloppy. Lonestar and previously Kris Norris seemingly never miss a note by even a 100th of a second. So tight!
Bumble Bee doo doo da da They're pretty cool. I was backstage with them a years back. I was completely drunk, and fanboying lol But they kept chill didn't ignore me, or push me out, they continued talking with me. Well maybe because I kept their beer cups filled haha 😃

@@samuelgaldieri8212 They get respect but I don't see Darkest Hour get as much talk in the metalcore community like some of their peers from that era of metalcore like KSE, August Burns Red, As I Lay Dying, All That Remains, Shadows Fall, Bullet for my Valentine etc. even though they deserve the same type of recognition.

I love and hate this song. The only song that brings tears when I hear it. Takes me right back to those times 20 years ago in school. Really tough times. When ppl talk about art and how it's priceless when it's capable of evoking such emotion. I never understood before this song. And now I can't not know no matter how much ya want to.
