I think what connected the disparate OG freestyle songs are the DJ mixes. The song blended real well together. This was before DJ software and STEMs. The DJ art created a lot of excitement in the ears and dance floors which brought the music that fit in the mix into the category of freestyle. I appreciate the dedication you both have. Carlos’s productions and edits are unique and you can tell from the first beat that it’s his production

Appreciate this video .. hopefully more to come . Grew up in freestyle music luv the genre. I would luv to see and interesting to hear to have some freestyle legends like Coro , K7 , Judy Torres, Safire and like yourself etc.. talk about their legendary music and songs in how all began and started. Give a more intimate outlook in the process of creating this Beautiful Classic music that will forever be in our hearts till the day . " Look in my Eyes " is my all time favorite from your music. Happy Holidays George Lamond .

Great discussion! Met both of you guys! I still check in one what you're both up to. Carlos - at Can-Am back in the mid-90s (then at Miami Winter Music Conference). George - at a small club down in Miami - I was performing a Miami Bass track during same show 😂. I think Nadine Renee was performing there too. We also crossed paths somewhere else, but can't remember where.
