I'll be the first. I totally supported UDI, the war against the terrs and still do. Great paintjob.
Yeah, because the RESULT proves it? A country built where there was NOTHING before gets taken over by people who weren't even around much less contributed while it was being developed.
I consider Rodesia one of Englands many sins. "You don't like us to govern you here have some sanctions you're evil now". They did the same to South Africa. A our way or the highway type attitude.
This Rhodesian gives you the thumbs up bro, nice work. Screw the munts and Commies and bollocks to the UK gov of that time, greatest betrayal in modern history. (British Army 14 years and my boys agree), We never die matey. ATB Moose.
Growing up in the US, I never really knew about Rhodesia until I read "The Bleed" by John Cronin and "Fire Force" by Chris Cocks. The UK and all the other Western nations should have been forced to compensate Rhodesian citizens who lost everything and were attacked by Mugabe's commies when it became Zimbabwe.
>Rhodie lookalike FAL
>Carry handle not clipped
Historical inaccuracy REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
I found an original today, all except the lower and no muzzle break.
$1,800
Too bad I don't have the cash
Thanks for the tutorial mate; I do really appreciate it fellow /k/ommando.
Love the >IWCDW patch.
Nice video. Looking at getting a FAL to do the same thing to.
Nice job buddy!👍
Many Rhodesian FALs (or FNs as everyone I knew called them) were not painted, at least not late in the war. Mine wasn't. I felt that it didn't help and was mainly a macho cowboy affectation.
Most of those I saw that were painted had either a tiger stripe or straw pattern often in an alarmingly bright yellow and green with lots of original black still showing.
Also, mine still had the carry handle.
Great video man
Looks awesome
Links to paint please. Thanks!
I have been searching at many paint stores for the matching paints according to the FAL files #s and can't find anything at HD, Lowes, Sherwin, or Napa. Is there a HD equivalent of the original numbers?

proudtobeautistic is that what you where able to match currently(last 6 months) or is that what you pulled off the internet from old paint codes?
I matched it up last month it's spot on to the original paint. If you present the codes to Sherwin Williams they should be able to mix them up.
I looked up the paint codes yet nothing came up. Do you happen to still have the links for where you bought it?
I've always been curious about the Color Codes for these specific greens, but researching those is a fucking pain... Anyone on here perhaps know Or at least the propper color names for the specific shades?
It's in the forum link he posted in the description:
"The code number for the dark forest green is DS166A. The code for the mustard yellow/green commonly referred to as "babyshit" is YS432A. With these codes any Dupont paint dealer can mix you all you want in quantities as small as a pint. Be advised that a pint will do probably 4-6 rifles..."
My SA/RA FAL has very little baby poop camo left on it not much parkerizing either.
Yayyy a babyshit fn!
baby poop
Incidentally, i agree with everything politcally about Rhodesia, and i HATE everything about zimbabwe.
Why do you say you don't want to get political? There is nothing political about the FN FAL rifle or the baby shit you threw on it.
"These guns were painted because the Rhodesian military discovered that their rifles showed up more than anything."
Short shorts confirmed for 100% camo effectiveness
