Hey hey y'all! We love this simple, beautiful life we live here in small town Alabama. Come see what it looks like to live in the deep south. This week I'm planting wildflowers, traveling to all star baseball games, celebrating a birthday and more.
Come join our large family as we share what life looks like in a small town in the southern United States. We live in a double wide mobile home on a one acre homestead and share our way of living here with you. We're raising babies, chickens, and food and sharing it all with you.

I'm enjoying your videos! I'm in rural Ashville in St. Clair County and love the small-town Alabama life. My dad grew up on a farm just outside of Cullman. I know the area very well and have been to Holly Pond many times over the years. It's a blessing finding the channel of a small-town Alabamian who is a Christian. My wife and I are also members of a small Baptist church.

I watch many a mom making their beds, and I wish my hubs and I could share a bed. I have severe restless legs, and I keep him awake, so I have a twin bed, and so does he. He decorates his stuff, and I do mine. Most of the time, we clash. Oh well, at least we are together.
My husband is last stage copd and he sleeps in the recliner every night, so I too sleep alone! I get it, but you do what you have to I guess, not always by choice.

Does that thick growth around the house make you worry about snakes?
Where the wildflowers are? Not really. We always have to be aware that we could see a snake around here, but the wildflowers don't worry me any more than just walking through the grass. :)
