Search on Amazon for 5amp buck converter
It is soldered into negative and positive leads of the esc, it’s adjustable it takes 8s voltage and drops it to 12volts so I can power my fans
I just bought the color xrt I've got a few questions if you don't mind. I also bought the xlx2 how are you liking it? How much better does it handle with the adjustable links in the front? Don't know what motor I want go with yet used to race long time ago had all losi. Just any advice on the truck? I have the 9500 hrb batteries just getting used to driving it lol. Thanks in advance on advice
What’s up , I love the power it has with the current system I have it does make it heavier thought, the links in the front I only put on because I broke my plastic stocks, if I were you I would either go with the hobbywing1100kv or the new castle 1260kv I think it’s a1720 can size can’t remember only because they are lighter motors than an 2028 can size ! @@twon00bzonecup I own the k8s rtr it’s completely beekcaked out aswell with a just bash it chassis and gpm bulkheads and m2c bits aswell check it on my channel it’s in one of the videos, as far as me deciding to go all in on the xrt is because I owned and XMaxx once before and didn’t really enjoy it with stock system and stock components so when I got the xrt I knew I was gonna go big with it , thanks for the support!

Hey bro whats your punch control at on the xlx2?
So the castle esc have a 0-100 setting
0 means it’s allowing full power for punch
100 means it’s holding back 100% of punch power , with that said I think I have mine set at 20% , that means my punch is at 80
If I leave it at 0% punch will be at 💯 does that make sense?
@@Dos_Rc Yea I have like 6 xlx2's and even more mmx8s. I was just curious what you were running at as I was kind of scared to turn mine up. I've been busting rear ring gears too haha. Not sure why but I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually. Great bash bro 😎👍

Out of the box, so if you never changed it from the start you been getting max punch the whole time
What are you using for a gear cover
Iam using vitavon mod 1.5 gear cover for the xrt

The power seems like it would be double what your getting in this video with that motor and esc. Something not right. That thing should be zooomingg
Iam only pushing about 250amps in this video based on the data logs , and Iam also not always full throttle in the video
