I built the pelican to scale in a game called strowmworks, and I as well started with the troop bay. It really is the heart of the ship.

The size comparison with the Pelican dropship set had my jaw on the floor lol. I have loved watching this project come together and am absolutely stunned by the beauty of the end result.

Compared to the megabloks or whatever it's called now, its amazingly scaled. The pelican in game is about the size of an c130 gunship irl according to 343
Bruh this is huge. I have a flame hog and it fits in my hand pretty good and seeing it on the tail. Damn that's massive I would have trouble picking it up. But finding a place to put it would be another task. Bravo, bravo dude that's amazing. Well done

The bits under the wings are called pylons. And for the orange parts I find it interesting you are using them as bombs I naturally assumed they would be external fuel pods
Thanks for the feedback on the pylons. I'm not to hot on aviation or weapons so wasn't aware of the fuel tank use that a few others have mentioned. Let's say they are whatever people want them to be :)

The connectors for the wing-mounted weapons are often called Pylons or hardpoints. They could be called struts, but it's up to you. Also, I really love how the chin-gun reminds me of a mix of the real-life GE GAU-8 Avenger 30mm rotary cannon (in terms of size) and GE GAU-22 Equalizer 25mm cannon (in terms of barrel count). The multi-rocket pods are definitely reminding me of real-life FFAR (Folding Fin Aerial Rocket) pods, such as the Hydras or Zunis (mounted on helicopters or ground attack planes). The orange rockets could be either external fuel tanks, or aerial-launched cruise missiles. Either way, absolutely superb job. As both an aviation enthusiast and Halo fan, I am extremely pleased!

I always had a soft spot in my heart for mega bloks, starting from their old pyrate sets. Reminds me of the lego bionicles with the larger and more specialised pieces. Megabloks halo was cool too. Shame I don't see anything from them anymore. Always felt more playable.

It can be a different type of bird gunship, considering it’s bigger than the pelican. Maybe the albatross gunship or something. Amazing job on the moc! I’ve never seen anything like it!

Glad too see this complete! Even though it may be oversized in many obvious areas, its still an amazing build either way. It’s just the way how you’ve built the thing which makes it interesting! Also the functions are awesome as well, the rotating wings (which I’m still surprised you got those to work!), functioning landing gear, able to carry vehicles, removable sections for easy access, all the good stuff for an amazing build! Again, nice work! Hope you do more in the future!

I’m not a halo expert by any means but I do study and do quite a bit of reading on modern military vehicles, weapons, and equipment and I have to say that weapons systems that you have built for the pelican look just like futuristic versions of many modern weapons that are currently used. I especially like the rocket pods and nose gun.

@@brickman1175 If anyone gives you guff about it, they should realize that the Halo universe doesn't do scale that well in the first place. Installation00 did a fantastic video summarizing the scaling issues that the Halo universe has wherein all of the space-faring ships should be much larger in order to fit their purported capacity. You're in the right!

Hats off, this should be in a museum. I think proportions are spot on in regards to animations. Amount of time and money you spent on this is off the charts. Mega should sign a probuilder team and support guys like you with parts at least. There is no better promotion for them than work you do. Mammoth next :) ?
Thanks for the great comment. I'd settle for them just selling me parts let alone giving me parts. It would make building so much easier if I could choose the parts I wanted rather than making the most of the parts I have or can get. Maybe they will reach out one day.

This Pelican looks like it can go into orbit, thats probably what sets it aside from the baby ones. Regardless of the scale man, this is like a home for marines I freakin love it dude.

@@brickman1175 Yeah dude, that's like a Mama Pelican 😊 like I said, it's scale is perfect for Orbital Adventures; and you can always dock the Warthog inside and carry the Scorpion outside. Making a bigger Warthog would look strange just to fit the scale of the Pelican (cause people think it's off scale) 😒😁 cause in my imagination/opinion I see it as a Freighter/Obital Carrier variant of the smaller models.
I honestly wish I had one man for my stop motion film. I think it's absolutely epic my dude can't wait to see your film!
