As a techy it does suck to have something newer and letting go of the old stuff we learned on. That made us love tech in the first place and work hard to buy. If it’s something that’s going to add value to your life and be more productive then have at it. :) and your old computer can always go to someone else who can learn on it!

i use final cut pro!! but i started out on imovie!🫶🏻
LMFAO the sims demo is so real 😭 installing the game was the first thing I did when I got my MacBook too and it was so much better than on my old laptop, it was like I went into a new universe because no way it was the same game looking that much better LOL
I didn't realize how low the quality I was playing!! it really did feel like I jumped into a whole other world, and now I'm even more addicted to playing (which I don't know if that's a good thing yet lol) 💓

i use both so much! i use my imac for gaming and editing shorts and tik toks and i use my macbook strictly for my long form videos! and its been so nice having separate systems!✨

So I have a question. With the computer from the old to the new it’s like a iPhone right? You just put it next to each other and all the files from the the old computer will be transferred to the new one?
MacOS has a tool called Migration Assistant, to go from one Mac to another.
